Houston television station KRIV quoted unidentified NBA sources as saying Griffin had checked into a hospital. Griffin's attorney, Rusty Hardin, told the station that Griffin was getting help but wouldn't elaborate. Hardin did not immediately return a telephone call from The Associated Press on Tuesday night. Team spokesman Nelson Luis could not confirm the report Tuesday night. Griffin was suspended from the team Oct. 16 for a series of missed practices and a skipped flight to Sacramento. Houston police are investigating a woman's allegations that Griffin struck her in the face and shot at her early Saturday at his home. No charges have been filed.</div> Saying Griffin has serious problems is an understatement..
There are many details that we have yet to learn about this case, but MAN is this not looking good for Griffin, he may never sniff another minute of NBA basketball ever again.
The only good thing I can draw out of this entire situation is that Griffin knew he needed help and he went to go get it. As King James said there are alot of specifics that we do not know about this case. I do think that Griffin will not get his contract extension though. Overall, this whole situation sucks however at least he is now going to be getting some much needed help.
