People have been loving GS, why, I have no clue. Maybe its because they have the leagues best dunker. Sad.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">People have been loving GS, why, I have no clue. Maybe its because they have the leagues best dunker. Sad.</div>Yeah. Look where they have the Bucks over the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies and Bucks played in a preseason game earlier. The Bucks had their starters in for almost the whole game while the Grizzlies played mostly benchwarmers and the Grizzlies still blew them out. They never lost the lead. I don't understand why HC underrated them.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">People have been loving GS, why, I have no clue. Maybe its because they have the leagues best dunker. Sad.</div>No its because they have a good team. They barely missed the playoffs last year in the WEST. The Cavs are not a good team. They play in the horrible east and still can't get into the playoffs. Wave-The players you mentioned will be back in a few games...a few games don't determine the season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">No its because they have a good team. They barely missed the playoffs last year in the WEST. The Cavs are not a good team. Wave-The players you mentioned will be back in a few games...a few games don't determine the season.</div> They had an okay team last year in the "WEST", but it's a different "WEST" and a different Warriors team this season. The Warriors stayed the same or got worse while everyone else took three giant leaps forward. I don't believe that the Warriors have any chance at all to make the playoffs. The players I mentioned are only out for a few games, but the Grizzlies are still better with them in there. Also, every year the eighth seed makes the playoffs by a few games. So yes, a few games do matter.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Lot different without Jamison and Arenas, your 2 leading scorers from last season.</div>When are you guys going to get off that? They have replaced them pretty well and have improved their team defense. The one thing that they couldn't replace is Arenas' defense, but they got a better scorer in NVE. Speedy isn't a bad backup either.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Underated nuggets and the bulls, and overrated by far Miluakee. you should switch Bulls w/ the Bucks</div>I agree about the Nuggets, they look much improved and they have the next ROY in Mello.
I agree with Rudeezy. Jamison is overrated, and Arenas at this point in his career is not as good a PG as Van Exel. It will be tough for GS to make the playoffs but they shouldn't be counted out. And I'm optimistic about GS, not because they have the best dunker. They dont have Vince. In my opinion, J-Rich has not played anywhere near his potiential and as of right now (based on last year's play), he is a weak part of their starting lineup. He has no idea how to guard the other 2's of the league. If he can get it together, they would have a shot at even the 7th seed.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">If he can get it together, they would have a shot at even the 7th seed.</div>Which seven of these teams are the Warriors better than? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wave:</div><div class="quote_post">Which seven of these teams are the Warriors better than? Lakers Kings Timberwolves Mavericks Blazers Rockets Grizzlies Spurs Clippers Supersonics Nuggets Jazz Suns</div>Grizzlies, Clippers, Jazz, maybe Nuggets and Sonics
IF, and its a big IF, they can get it together and all play up to their potiential, they are better than Jazz, Nuggets, Sonics, Clippers, Grizzles Rockets Blazers (maybe, seeing how they can destruct at anytime) All I'm saying is that they aren't as bad as some make them out to be. They have solid players. I'm almost certain they wont make the playoffs but all i'm saying is that THEY HAVE A LEGIT CHANCE btw, i'm not a warriors fan at all.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">Grizzlies</div>There is no way that the Warriors are better than the Grizzlies. Why are you so blind about that? Many experts (like ESPN and TNT) predict that the Grizzlies will make the playoffs while the Golden State Warriors aren't predicted by many to break into the top twenty-five.
Let's see here.... Jazz Clippers Umm..that's all. And they might not even be better than the Jazz. The Warriors, all they really have now is Richardson that I can think of right off hand. They got rid of Jamison and Arenas, and, despite what Rudeezy thinks, it is a big deal. Like someone said earlier, top 2 scorers on that team last year. They haven't pretty much replaced them either. All they've done is get Van Exel, and he only replaces Jamison. They still haven't found a replacement for Arenas.
Experts also predicted the Suns to finish 28 out of the 29th last season..but made the playoffs...The experts predictions are normally pretty bad Warriors are not better than Rockets or Blazers...How can you say they are? Hell I might even say Nuggets have a better roster than the Warriors...GS will do better than expected just no playoffs...

How about NVE and Troy Murphy? LOL...NVE replaces Jamison? How about Arenas since they are both PGs? Jamison was a selfish player. He was a good scorer but hurt the Warriors with his "lack of a shot". They now have a big game player in NVE...a go-to-guy. Wave- Those experts also predicted a 4-peat by the Lakers last year....hmmmm...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Underated nuggets and the bulls, and overrated by far Miluakee. you should switch Bulls w/ the Bucks</div> what was i thinking? switch the Celts w/ the Bulls and then the bulls w/ orlando so it would be 8.Bulls, 7 Toronto, and 6 Orlando. I am positive that the bulls will make the playoffs

I wasn't talking about position wise. Plus, he will, in all likelyhood, lead that team in scoring. Again, replacing Jamison in that aspect. And obviously, I did know about Nick cause I mentioned him, so, yea, don't diss me there. And so sue me for not paying attention to them. I payed attention last year, but, than they did stuff like not getting Arenas back so, yea. Oh, and I can name one more player, Mickeal Pietrus. He, btw, should get playing time. He seems like he's a good player from what I've heard. But, yea, it goes back to what I said, the Warriors lost 2 scorers and only replaced one. Losing two, gaining one, doesn't sound like a winning formula to me.
For one, I wasn't trying to diss you. I don't play that game. I think your last statement is false. Replacing only one out of 2 scorers doesn't mean a thing. They improved as a team, which is much more important than individuals. They are more balanced and, most importantly, they are a deeper team. This little game of predictions is fun, but I guess only time will tell.
Yea, I do see where you're coming from, but, again, it's gonna be very hard to replace someone like Arenas. He was a great player. They might have done it, but, who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.
