Tonite they started Dirk at 5, Walker at 4, Finely 3, Delk 2, Nash 1. Forston must have really impressed Nelly.
I don't know what Nellie was thinking. Dallas almost got beat by a 8 man Golden State Warrior team without Richardson And Van Exel. All these trades and Nellie is back playing Fin at the 3? Boggles my mind.

That team doesn't look the same as last year. Maybe too many scorers? And Jamison sat out the whole second half. He was 1/7 in the first half.
i hate to be the one to tell you "i told you so"...but if they can get their acts together, they can still continue winning... this game is a simple case of too many scorers...too few defenders... this seems to be the Mavs' gameplan...outscore their opponents...and some guys actually believe that you can do this and win the games...this is a perfect example of what will happen if the Mavs' had an off-night...
They need to learn how to play as a unit, which they will learn. But that is their biggest problem, not D.
There biggest problem isn't there D but it is a problem. They have guys who can play D, Finely for example, but they are struggling in their team man-to-man defense. They need to stick to their zone so they are not so easily exposed. And it wouldn't hurt if Dirk would put in a little work on the Defensive side of the ball.
