If Lebron maintains the way hes been playing, he should start. He would actually deserve to. The fans vote for the player they like best and face the facts, Lebron has a ton of fans.

Vince Carter didnt deserve a starting spot last season due to injuries. Yao Ming also shouldn't have earned the starting spot. Shaq is clearly the better player.

Starting does not matter in any case, it's what the fans want to see, not nessecarily who the better player is in every case.

Bron will be there, because people want to see him there. I feel he will be deserving though, easily if he keeps around this pace.

    so if the cavs go 0 - 41 and lebron is averaging 20 - 7 - 6 he deserves to start over vince who might be 24 - 17 and puttin up 25 - 5 - 5 ?? [IMG]

I say the way tracy mcgrady has been playin he doesnt deserve to start..
Geez hes the next antoine walker.. hes taken 14 threes the first 2 games, and has a god awful % from the floor

If he maintains the same numbers hes putting up now then yes.

Tmac will most likely be starting as well. If you are referring to McGrady hitting the layup with .5 seconds left to send the Knicks game into overtime, then of course- he shouldnt start. Hes terrible. [IMG] Players are still getting used to the offense system and trying to get back in shape for the new season. Of course they wont be shooting great. They are still rusty.

King James is right, its what the fans want to see. The game doesnt even matter. Its all in good fun.

Its obvious your a homer.. seeing your fav player is tmac,
I watched that game and tracy was god awful!! Just like in the preseason.. He got TORCHED by KVH and yea he hit the shot to win or what not.. But what about goin ( 9 for 23) or his 6 turnovers.. i guess that had nothing to do with the game even bein that close in the first place.. I know its only been 2 games, but the magic dont look good at all..!! struggle to beat the knicks without dice.. and then lose at home to the hornets who dont even have mash [IMG]

Seriously what are you on about? Mcgrady doesn't deserve to start? [IMG] He is a superstar with amazing skills...He has started off slow?..For godsake Tim Duncan did last season...The NBA season is not a one week thing..It is 82 games!! Who cares if they nearly lost to the Knicks...and lost to Hornets without Mash...They aren't some prefect team you know. It's a long season...I bet you will be surprised when the Lakers lose some games too [IMG]

Even T-mac for a guy who you say doesn't deserve to start and is playing badly is still averaging

    29 points 5 rebounds 6 assists a game

So please gets your facts straight when talking about a player like Mcgrady

I never said he had a perfect game. You are getting good at putting words in other peoples mouth. He had a very off shooting night. Tmac was there when the Magic needed him. He came up late in the game, bringing it to OT. Then he was there for the plays in overtime.

KVH fouled out. He had a great game, but keep that in mind.
