<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Derek Fisher: I think most of the disappointment is just the entire situation. It's just bad timing. I don't think the rest of us were really aware of what Shaq and Phil talked about and what Kobe and Mitch talked about and this agreement they made in terms of not saying anything. So we weren't really aware of all those circumstances.</div> http://hoopshype.com/interviews/fisher_eaves.htm Honestly, I think the Lakers should have done a better job at keeping everything quiet. If the Lakers want another ring, they should have addressed the situation earlier and moved on.
Yes they should have handled it better but who knows, it might give them the drive that they needed. I think they both needed a kick in the butt.
Eventually all will be well. The media is making this issue bigger than it really is. Teammates just need to support each other.
It won't be 'anything.' Everything thats said and done, the Lakers have fought through this crap before. Not to mention, if the problem IS more serious/deep than just the recent event, it is nothing new and Shaq and Kobe have been playing through it for years...
nothing would happen as long as Phil is the head coach ! at a certain point he'll be tough on those two if they keep firing it up
