    Skonto?s Andris Biedrins

Although the FIBA Europe League is just 3 weeks old, there is no doubt that the player who has made the biggest impact on the competition is Skonto?s Andris Biedrins.

The 17-year-old, 213 cm center draws comparisons to last year?s uber-talent from Serbia and Montenegro Darko Milicic, who was chosen at no.2 in the summer?s NBA draft and is now playing for the Detroit Pistons. Milicic helped to lead his former club Hemofarm Vrsac all the way to the Champions Cup Final Four last year, and no doubt Biedrins will also be dreaming of similar success with his club, Skonto Riga.

Good find, Bender. Seems like this guy is very good on the defensive end, and can block shots. Has to do a few things before he gets to the NBA, but I can guarentee we'll be hearing about him between then and now.

Do we want him to be the next Milicic yet? Milicic has barely played in the NBA and could turn out to be a huge bust. I'd say call this guy a phenominal player before calling him the next Milicic. We still don't know what Milicic.

LOL i was goin to post something just like this. How can you compare a player to another player who could ending up being one of the biggest busts of all time. (not saying he will be though)
