<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Three games into this season, the Orlando Magic scare you. They look as uncomfortable playing together as you feel watching them. They have changed, all right. They're worse. For now. So, when can we panic? "Boy, I tell you, it's frustrating to see that," Magic Coach Doc Rivers said after a 96-85 loss to Detroit on Saturday night. The Magic are 1-2, 0-2 at home, and looking like a team that can neither score nor defend adequately. They are staying in games on individual talent and willpower, but the togetherness is missing. You know unity will take time. Still, you expect more</div> http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/bask...?coll=orl-magic The season is very young but so far the Magic have fallen a few steps back on defense and rebounding. The offense still needs to click as well. Its still too early to judge, hopefully things should get better. I have expected better.
The big thing is Juwan Howard can't hit a shot. He's only shooting 35%. We're expecting him to shoot around the 45-50% range. I don't think we've gotten worse, it just takes time to get everyone on the same page. The new training camp thing that the vets don't come for a couple days later seems like it ruined us. We could have used those days to get everyone on the same page. Hopefully we will improve.
Im shocked too at their current form, but as you've both said, hopefully soon they will gel as a team.
If you are still playing bad in a months time then you should get worried..but It is early in the season...So you shouldn't be too concerned.
