The Spurs offense has not come together yet, but they look good considering Tony Parker and Anthony Carter are out. Jason Hart, who they had to sign on Saturday to have a point guard, looked good against the Knicks last night. Their defense is tough and they are only giving up an average of 78 points per game so far, compared to the Lakers 96. By the second half of the season this team will look much better that last years championship team. Go SPURS!!!

I agree, the Spurs nearly always start off the season badly...So It's not surprise to see some problems early on which should be expected...The defense is very good...The offense as you say Is not quite there...I feel after the all-star break is when the Spurs will really turn it on.

I expect the Spurs will be the best defensive team in the league (again. they were right up there with the Pistons- in a tougher conference). They should be able to keep this up all season. Can't wait until Tony comes back.. hopefully the Spurs will get some more offense going for them. That's the only thing that's been worrying me.
