Raptors Offensive sets... Is it just me, or does everyone else notice that the raps are focusing so much on proper execution of their sets that they are not playing with any instinct. The sets are designed to give the players a frame work. Some openings to take advantage of. If you run the same routes everytime, the defence knows where you're going after 5 minutes. The reason VC had 39 against the Nets is because A) he's amazing and because he improvised and took advantage of what was laid out in front of him. They lost to the T-wolves because they settled for the outside game and hesitated on almost every option to score. That's how you end up with shots being taken with 1 second left on the shot clock. There was alot of standing around against Minnesota. Hopefully the team will be ready on Thursday. Lack of offensive opportunities shouldn't be a problem. Everyone knows the Mavs are all about scoring. On a side note, it would be awesome to see a trade to get Antawn J in TO. He would look sweet in Raptor Red.
