<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lostmyluggage:</div><div class="quote_post">I also think Cuttino Mobley is one of the best all around shooting guards in the NBA.</div>

word from some rocket fans i know is that mobley is actually highly overrated. He only scores when he goes off on his own, forces a ton of shots, and doesn't create at all for his teammates.

Donyell Marshall. The guy was overrated coming into the NBA, but during his years with Utah and Chicago he's suddenly become one of the most quietly effective forwards in the game IMO. Had another big one tonight, a rebounding machine

Yea, Hayes is a good player. But, eventually, Stack will be back and Hayes is gonna lose a lot of touches.

And at this point Calbert Cheaney deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Allan Houston, but that means nothing after 3 or 4 games. Compare Hayes to Bron and Melo now, but then compare them after 2 seasons when they really start to make an impact, and see where you get. But you're right, LeBron is a flop. An 18 year old stepping in and after 3 games it's a sure thing to say he's a flop. I can't believe any of the hype at all, absolutely incredibly innaccurate ... fool [IMG]

For someone who is tired of LeBron, you sure do more than your fair share of posting about how poor his game is. [IMG]

Like Olskool mentioned, Elton Brand. Unfortunately for Brand his history of injuries has hurt his popularity.

I also agree Marion does not get much credit, unless you play fantasy basketball annually, you don't have a sense of how much the Matrix contributes to his team on both ends of the court.

    Did i say flop??
Did i say hayes would be better in the long run??
Lebron the last 2 games has been playin like an 18 yr old..and when teams start to figure out that he has no jumper, they will back off and dare him to shoot!!
I was just saying if u want to talk about ROY Hayes should be listed up there with them, esp. ahead of lebron becuz right now it looks like they might only win about 10 games this year, and those will be against the hawks and bulls

By the way i can see Hayes averaging 20 a game in 3 years.. which isnt bad!!

So any 18 year old can come in and put up close to triple double numbers? Very funny.

Michael Redd. [IMG] He was a great player last year, robbed of the 6th Man, and this season he is only just starting to make a name for himself. But in his biggest game so far this season, dropping 36 against the Lakers, Kobe stole all the headlines (and after Redd scored something like 19 in the 3rd quarter, Porter held him out the first 8 minutes of the 4th [IMG])

I can't see Hayes doing it as long as Stackhouse and Arenas are still there. That's the biggest reason why he's producing now is cause Stackhouse is out. You can't truthfully say he'd be doing this with Stackhouse there.

Then word your posts better. You directly compared Hayes and Bron and after a week of their rookie seasons I don't understand how anyone could compare at such an early stage of their careers. From the way you write your posts you've already written of Bron after 3 games and T-Mac after 4 - and it won't matter how bad Bron's jumper is, he is too good to be bogged down by opposing defences on a consistent basis. You blatanly ignore the fact that there is always a transition period for a rookie in the NBA, especially one who comes straight from highschool.

If stack and Arenas, are there, Hayes will never avg 20 a game. He looks like a good player though, although he really doesn't do much other than score kind of like your boy Jamison [IMG]
HAyes kind of reminds me of Courtney Alexander, but with less quickness.

I was going to say him. He nearly averaged a double double last season, mostly coming off the bench. He's very consistent, is a great leader and can play positions 3-5. His defense is pretty impresive too, of course, those long arms certainly help.

Rip Hamilton I think is a situation like Arenas. I can't really consider someone being payed 60 mil underrated anymore. It means they've done something to drop that label. That's just my personal opinion.

Ricky Davis, I quite like his play and think that alot of the time off court events shadow it. Also Brad Miller is really starting to shine with the Kings.

    Most underrated??

B-Diddy. Does so much for his team statistic wise, and his performance on the basketball court doesn't receive too much recognition.

I'll throw in another name - Corey Maggette. Sure, everybody knows he has serious hops, but I don't think he gets enough credit for how good an all round player he has become. A true stud.
