Andrei Kirilenko, he's putting up good numbers ( 16 ppg, 8rpg, 3 apg, 2.5 spg, 2.5 bpg and he's a 82% FT shooter) and leading the Jazz to a good record in the West. He's extremely versatile and can fill up a stat sheet quick, and he's not playing his natural posistion.
AK-47, he hasn't gotten much attention and hes been doin great and look at the jazz. Baron Davis, for some reason it seems like Lebron is outshining him. Peja should be gettin more credit.. hes top in FG % and PPG... he needs to get his AST up but he should be mentioned more... thats it for now.
He hasn't played this season (returned last night) but Troy Murphy is a very underrated big man.He averaged a double double last season...11 points 10 rebounds. He really was a key factor in their turnaround but never got much credit for it. As we are on the subject of Baron Davis. He has attempted 245 three-pointers already this season.Which is just crazy. He has thrown up 100 more than the guy in 2nd place Eddie Jones. While 138 more than Antonie Walker (Yes you heard me right) And Baron is currently 0-6 tonight from deep at halftime. Stay off the three point line Baron and attack the rim more. It's doing you no good throwing up bombs every game.
I know it was mentioned earlier, but Elton Brand. The guy is a nightly 20-10 threat, but doesn't get mentioned with JO, Reef, Toine, Duncan, KG, Webber, Dirk, etc. And he is extremely under rated on defense. People say he's undersized, but he plays like he's 7 feet tall, easily ranking among the leaders in blocks every year.
Sam Cassell, nobody else is even close. Iam going to steal a quote from steve kerr from tonights game,"Sam Cassell has been one of the league's best players for the last 6 year but nobody seems to notice"
He's always played great, but he always seems to have someone on his team who is better, and who steals the spotlight. Dream and Glide, Kevin Johnson, Van Horn, Ray Allen and Big Dogg, and now KG and Spree. Not his fault, but that's probably why he has never been an all-star.
Eric Snow. He is one of the best point guards in the league, he keeps it simple and wins games with it. I love watching him play, but yet no love, does he really have to dribble though his legs to get love. Pitiful.

Michael Redd is underrated, one of the best pure shooters in the game, who scores big every night. Averaging about 22 points a game, with about 6 rebounds a game, yet never talked about when people bring up the best shooting guards in the league.

If he averages 22 a game for the whole entire season then we can start talking about him as one of the better guards in the league. And most players have their coming out party in the playoffs. He had that opportunity last season in the first round and played about as bad as you can play. I think he has to prove himself in a few big situations before we put him as one of the best guards. When I think best guards, I think of Kobe & AI(so compared to them he isnt underatted cause he isnt on their level)but he one of those players to watch develope into a star. PS Eric Snow is one of the best point guards in the league. He is the best on ball defender at the position. He runs a team with limited mistakes & he knocks down the shot when it presents it self. Eric Snow never forces his game. He sets excellent tempo for the sixers to play at. So that makes one of the best point guards in the league. He allows Iverson to be so great because of him philly can hide Ivo on the weaker backcourt player. Plus name how many point guards(in this era where point guards dominate so much of the play& scoring) would limit there game to allow Iverson to take as many shots as he does, Snow is unselfish.

When I think of best point guards in the league I think Kidd, Payton, Marbury, Francis, Baron...etc. Sure, Eric Snow has leadership skills, a non selfish player, and hits shots when philly needs them. But no, Eric Snow is not a top point guard in the league, kind of makes me laugh that someone would say that. Now to get back on about Michael Redd, he did not have a chance to show what he could do in the playoffs. He averaged 21 minutes a game, and bairly even shot the ball in that time, so I don't know where that statement came from. Also on the last game of the series, he finally got good playing time(32 minutes) and shot 7-11 for 20 points, please know your facts. Michael Redd is playing very well this season, and IS a top shooting guard in the league. Sure you have your Mcgrady's, Kobe's, and Iverson's, I don't mean that he's in a category with them, which exactly proves a point why he is underrated, he basically gets no credit for what he does every night. Kobe scores 30 in a win, their all on the front of NBA.com, but when Redd does it, it's silent, that's what underrated is.

Even AS a sixer fan, I myself believe that Eric Snow is horrible. The only thing he can do is shoot freethrows and keep control of the ball. He has no jumpshot, he couldn't hit one to save his life. Hes not even close to bein one of the best... this is IMO... just a comment on your statement, us both being sixer fans.
I belive Henacy said it all, and yet Purple N Gold doesn't respond as if he/she had a point. He/She named some guards that yes were good, but then put Franics in that list, I think Snow is clearly better than Franics. This would be the same if I was a Rockets fan, or a Sixers fan, so don't say I am biased.

BTW: I wasn't trying to prove any points about Snow, I felt all I needed to do was state what PG's came to mind when he said one of the best. I was mainly proving a point about Redd. And I know I should just 'accept someones opinion' but damn, I can't let that statement go by.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sasha:</div><div class="quote_post">I think Snow is clearly better than Franics.</div> ARE YOU SERIOUS? Please tell me this is a joke man... your makin us Sixer fans seem really really biased and stupid... you gotta be jokin. You just said that straight up... I can't believe your serious. That line makes me just want to PS my bad if you call this a personal attack, but sayin Eric Snow of the 76ers is better than Steve Francis is takin it way too far.

I would love for you to post reasons why you think he is better than Francis, so I can rip those reasons apart. You said it, now prove it.
