Do you mind elaborating on your posts? I like how you're active but you have to add more substance to your posts.

I think that Timmy's good and all, but he won't be able to get 3 in a row. Just ain't happenin'. I think Shaq's goin' get it on his comeback year, and for a darkhorse...........B-Diddy or Pierce. Now i know ya'll gonna criticize me bout baron, but he's playing tremendously lately, and if he keeps it up, it could happen..............

Kevin isnt playing is his best ball right now... but I think that it will ultimatley come down to him and Tim Duncan. Ive always had the semi-theory that you have to have a MVP type season before you can win the MVP the following year. So people recognize that you can play at this level and pay attention more. Thus Garnett will be followed a little more.

Duncan has a lot more to carry this year, yes his team improved a little bit, but not as much as all the other teams did. Thus his level of play (amazingly) will have to rise from last year.

McGrady and Pierce will be thrown into the mix as well.

If Shaq is motivated and he plays 'bout 75 games with the same stats as the previous year he'll win it !

I think with Walker gone, if Pierce can carry the Celtics to a top 6 spot then he'll be a shot.

really? what about Kidd? Kidd showed that he can carry a team almost by himself...it's common knowledge that the Nets wouldn't make it big without him...he's the only superstar in the Nets team and yet they made it to the Finals twice in a row...i don't think Tmac can brag about that...he may be scoring loads of points but he cannot get past the 1st round...

i strongly feel that Kidd should've been MVP when he first turned the Nets team around...he has the best chance among the East contenders...

KG will be MVP, although I would like to see Kidd get it.

Kg has deserved it the last two years. he played better in the playoffs two years ago than Kidd and he didn't do it in the sorry eastern conference. and he well outplayed tim duncan last year in the regular season without any other "superstars"

My Top 4 MVP choices are:

    1. Kevin Garnett
    2. Shaq O'neal
    3. Kobe Bryant
    4. Jermaine O'neal

Kevin Garnett is putting up great numbers despite the star players around him and Minny has looked dominant. The fact they lost to the Jazz once KG got ejected shows just how valuable he is to the TWolves.

Shaq & Kobe are leading the Lakers down the stretch and Kobe is putting up all around numbers despite all his off-season drama. They will both be in the running all season long.

The darkhorse is Jermaine O'neal. With his new contract and the only inside force now for Indy, he has been putting up double doubles every night. The Pacers are off to a great start at 3-1 and he deserves all the credit.

Tim Duncan died and you didn't tell me?

Also you have Kobe at number 3 as MVP..Is that for Most Valuable Player Or Most Valuable Prisoner ?

..Yea, I don't see the logic behind that.

I agree. Kidd and the Nets played much better last season and got a fraction of the MVP consideration that TMac did. If anyone in the East deserves it, it's Kidd.

i'd take Kobe and O`Neal off this list...this is my list:

    1. KG
    2. Kidd
    3. Tim
    4. Shaq

i'd love to make Kidd number 1...but i do agree that KG has the better chance...
