for lowest scoring week in NBA history? I mean this week has been pretty pathetic. You can make all the excuses you want, whether it be injuries or rust, but nothing excuses the scores I have seen. 61 points? 68? 66? I think I even saw a 59 in there too. Point is regardless of how many people are injured professional teams should be able to put up more than eleven and seven points in a quarter (like the Nuggets did tonight). Some of these teams don't even put up 20 points a quarter on a regular basis. That is just pathetic.

look man it is boring as hell but people gotta remember that improved athletisism also means improved defense. it'll get better man.

Sure defense has improved, but to the point of 61 points in a game? I don't buy that one bit. A lot of these guys just can't hit their shots or can't play at all. Regardless of improvements in defense a team should atleast be able to put up 20 points a quarter through a game.

Lack of all around play. Thats why I laughed when people said that LeBron could not hang in the NBA because these were pros. There are too many people who can't shoot, can't dribble, can't post up, can't defend, can't even shoot freethrows, its a joke.

Thats why I don't have a problem with more Euro kids coming over, they are more well rounded.

I think that the d has a little something to do with it as well.

[IMG] Like my Bulls. It's as if they forgot how to shoot the damn ball. It's not as if these low scoring team's opponants are amazing defensively. I dunno..

I agree, allnet, this is inexcusable. These are professional teams! There are too many players who shouldn't be in the NBA. Its sickening to watch at times.

the lowest score ever? 2-0 before the 24 sec. shot clock...hehehe...

i agree with the low scores...i can understand if the other team is doing good D...but that's not the usual case now..it's just that teams can't shoot now...

What is the complaint? The entire league as a whole is averaging 89 points.
