Duncan?DRob during TD's rookie season was SCARY. Both of them getting 20/10/3 numbers. Too bad DRob had to go and get old. Hah.

What made Duncan/Robinson even more dangerous was having Sean Elliot on the perimeter for when defenses inevitably collapsed on the two. Never a star but was one of the most underrated small forwards in the game before the kidney disease

Pippen underated? Were talking about one of the greatest forwards to ever play the game! (see avatar for more info) A perfect compliment to Jordan and he was always able to school the opposing teams second best defender, while Jordan would school anyone that tried to stop him.

I def. think Jordan/Pippen & Stockton/Malone were the best duos. (my bro says Kobe/Shaq...pssh)

The best ones I've had the privelege of seeing is Jordan/Pippen and Kobe/Shaq. I actually think Kobe and Shaq is better cause, if they work together, no one can stop em. Jordan and Pippen was always mainly Jordan. Kobe/Shaq, they can both go off at any second.

One that hasn't been mentioned - Dream and Clyde. By no means the best ever, but still one of the best combos of the 90s

They only played with each other for 2 years i think, and only one title together. Univ of houston duo as one of the greatest for NCAA, maybe...

Whoa, now we're talking college, how'd we manage this? But, if you talk college, how about Battier/Williams at Duke. Or Blake/Dixon at Maryland. Those were 2 excellent ones. Recker/Evans at Iowa could have been good, but, Recker was never healthy. Those, are quite noticeable, modern ones. Don't really know about any older ones, seeing as how I'm only 17 and haven't been around long enough to know about all of em.

No doubt Glide played his best years at Portland, but he had a big impact at Houston nonetheless. Maybe not fair to have them as one of the best of the 90s though, you're right. I've always wondered what Shaq and Penny could have evolved into if Shaq didn't leave...big 'if' though
