<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors hope to shake off their lowest point total in franchise history when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday at the Air Canada Centre.

The Raptors, who won their opening two contests of the season here, lost at Minnesota on Saturday, 73-56, after shooting only 27.5 percent (19-of-69). It was the fewest points Toronto had ever scored or Minnesota had ever given up.

Vince Carter scored 15 points but was the only player to reach double figures for the Raptors, who scored a franchise-low 24 second-half points. Carter connected on only 5-of-15 shots after being hounded by Latrell Sprewell.

Dallas opened a three-game road trip with a 100-90 setback at Washington on Wednesday, which snapped a three-game winning streak.

Antawn Jamison had 21 points and nine rebounds and Antoine Walker 18 and eight for the Mavericks, who lost starting point guard Steve Nash to a strained left shoulder in the first quarter.

Dirk Nowitzki scored only nine points on 1-of-9 shooting for Dallas, which shot only 38 percent (32-of-85).

Dallas has won the last three meetings with Toronto, including both encounters last season. </div>
