Awesome game. Without Duncan or Parker. Does everyone see what all the Spurs fans have known all along about Manu? Finally.
well i will answer the question i wasnt scared at all its the only the beginning of the season and i thought it would be a closer game than people thought...Manu is awesome...still cant stand him though
No, wasn't really worried. Cause, yea, with all the talent LA has, you can't get too worried. And yea, I realized last year in the playoffs how good Ginobli was how much better he could be.
I was praying for the Spurs to take the win, but it just didn't happen. Imagine if Duncan and Parker were paying, it could have been a blowout!
You never know though, if Duncan and Parker were to play, LA might have played a lot better also. So, yea, you can never really assume these kinda things. Something different could always happen.
^I agree. I think the game still would have been close if Duncan and Parker were playing. Anyways, that was an awesome game by Manu.
Well, Lakers lost tonight. New Orleans, damn. Who'd have thought they'd be what, 5-1 right now. I mean, good players, but, horrible coach.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting VAs Finest:</div><div class="quote_post">Manu is awesome...still cant stand him though</div>Whats not to like about Manu as a basketball player? A person? Just curious. No way I am scared if I am a Lakers fan, maybe awakened but not scared. PS: shouldn't this have been posted in the Lakers forum?
The Baron of Westwood strikes again!!! You just knew (at least I did) that the lakers were goin to struggle going up against a hot team after playing a double-OT game the night before all while in the middle of a road trip. I'm not taking anything away from the hornets, they played terrific...I believe their goin to represent the East in the finals this year
Nah what i meant was. Laker fans must have been feeling pretty shitty when the limping Spurs almost knocked em off the high horse. I mean damn the refs lost that game for SA. Even Sportscenter was seeing Kobes travel. Screw it. Its in the books. Lakers won. But that was too close of a game with Tim or Tony. A complete blowout if they did play.
Silverblack, it goes back to my previous point. You can't say it would have been a complete blowout if they would've had Tony and Tim. You never know what could have happened. I mean, LA could have thought this was a push over game and, if Tim and Tony were there, they could've had a different thought process. Well, no could have, they would have had a different thought process. Especially about how to defend. So, you can never say it would've been a blowout with Tim and Tony in the game. For all you know, LA could've blown THEM out. So, never assume. Oh, and the Hornets, just cause they're playin well right you, you can't say that they'll represent the East in the finals. Sure, they're playing good right now, but, what about later in the season? What about in the playoffs when the fatigue of an 82 game schedule sets in? Yea, when that happens, I won't put my money on a team who's not used to being outta the 1st round. Every team slows down. And, just remember who they have as a coach....
