    Complete list- http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2003/bask...1111/index.html

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Tracy McGrady, Magic -- An MVP candidate a year ago, McGrady has been swarmed by zone defenses that the Magic can't seem to solve. It doesn't help that he's also not making shots. McGrady's average of 21.4 points a game doesn't seem bad until you remember that last season he averaged 32.1. In addition, his 35 percent shooting has included a number of missed jumpers that reliably found the bottom of the net in 2002-03.

Alonzo Mourning, Nets -- It's great that he's healthy again, and I wish him continued vigor in his comeback, but 7.7 points and 3.0 rebounds a night probably wasn't what the Nets had in mind when they gave him a four-year deal this summer -- especially given the limited shot-blocking (just three this year) that the two-time Defensive Player of the Year has provided.

Juwan Howard, Magic -- When Orlando added Howard during the offseason, it was Drew Gooden that people thought might struggle, as he was pushed into a less suitable small forward role. But instead Howard has been the dud. Along with McGrady, the free-agent pickup has been the other half of a disappointing Orlando attack. How can somebody score 18 per game on 45 percent shooting for last year's pathetic Nuggets but only average 14 on 39 percent shooting for this year's Magic? Hopefully, Doc Rivers has the answer.</div>

The list is about right. They should keep in mind that Howard's right wrist is injured.

Another player is Lamond Murray. He is shooting terrible but he didn't play a game all of last year.

Alvin Williams for sure yes,he isn't a great player but he has been a soild point guard for the Raptors over the years...Yet averaging just 3.8 points and 3.5 assists per game this year..Not close to his 13 and 5 he put up last season.

And Vintage I know you were kidding adding in the Bulls..but It is unfair to add in Kirk Hinrich. He is a rookie trying to learn a new offense.Rookie Point guards in this league rarely are successful until they have a few years under their belt.

Its more in frusturation I added Hinrich. I should add Crawford and his selfish behavior in that list too.

Still, 9 turnovers in one game is horrendous.....even for a rookie..

    Thats no real excuse

If he was badly hurt he would not be playing...If he is playing in games then his performances shouldn't be blamed on injuries...If he is hurt then sit out...Like Duncan and Parker have.Williams can't be injuried enough If he is playing in every game

Either he didn't keep in shape, didn't hit the weights or is just going through a slump...Using the "injuried" excuse to why he is playing this bad is not really acceptable.

AI has played through injuries...That doesn't affect his play or the way he leads his team.

When a good player who is truely coming off an injury then you may have a case.but I don't remember this guy having that.

Calvin Booth should be an annual on this team simply cos of his contract. Same goes for Darius Miles.

Thank you! Alvin is a solid player and Raptor fans have learned to love his heart but if your hurt SIT DOWN! in truth you don't hear him complain about it all that much but it shouldn't be an issue. If he's banged-up bad enough that it's destroying his productivity then take one for the team and sit down!

I know his name's already been mentioned but Eddy Curry needs to be playing biggerthan he is (or exactly as big as he is...which is pretty damn big!)

If Alvin Williams sits than the Raptors would only have one point guard Milt Palico and in no way do you trust him to run your team as the main & only point for 48 minutes. ALVIN WILLIAMS CANT SIT UNTIL THE RAPTORS FIND SOMEONE TO REPLACE HIM!!!!!!

WHERES MICHEAL OLAWOKANDI on people list of players that need to wake up. they gave him alot of money and so far this season his got out played by the likes of Greg ostertag and wast even on the floor in crunch time against the kings. Him and Mcgrady are the stars of the need to wake up team.

Tim Thomas is another you should be permanently on this list, he cant guard anyone, has a huge contract and is as hot and cold as anyone in the league.

Just like the Spurs had to trust Jason Hart

He had to run the defending champs for quite a few games against the likes of Gary Payton,Steve Nash and Jason Williams

So thats no real excuse of "we can't trust Milt to run our team" theory.

Tim Thomas is doing just fine to me,he is actually playing better ball than he did last season..He seems to have more confidence out there.Point out Thomas just because of his big fat contract is just wrong.

Oh and ALOT of players "can't guard anyone" so that should not decide how good a player is playing e.t.c

I'm just gonna add to the little 9 turnover thing. He has had 13 over the last 2 games. That's bad. Really, really, bad. Rookie, yes, but, still, that's pretty unacceptable.

Miles has playes great the last 2 games (Not counting the Knick game because he left injured) But it was thanks to him for the most part that we got our first win in matching a career high, and overall the best game of his career.

The Kandi man I have been very frustrated with, Oliver Miller could be putting up those kind of number now (a heathy Big O would destroy him)
