I thought about that, but he just isn't a 1-2 guy anymore. My first reaction when I heard he was released was KC/DEN. Then I thought about TB. But I don't think that he would help as much as you think. Remember my comments on Junior a while back that got me in so much hot water (somewhere else)? Same idea. Can't play the whole game like a twenty-something would. And it appears that he won't take neary 40-somthing money and isn't willing to take a front row seat (on the bench) for much of the game.

I think Tim Brown is pretty much past it....hes lost the speed that made him elite....hes got averege TE speed now, and his hands seem to be getting worse....

They want a speedster but yet they may sign Antonio Freeman. Freeman is an upgrade over Brown.

Now, however, is the time for Simmons, Tolver, Newson, Wilkins & Minnis to step up.

The silver lining is that out of Simmoms, Tolver, Newsome and Minnis, the Dolphins may find a young stud WR....I would love to see Tolver and Simmons step up and excel...

Freeman would be a solid pickup for the 'phins, but not as a starting #2 receiver. He'd be a great number 3, though!
