If they don't get voted in by the fans, I highly doubt that they will make it.

LeBron will be a starter, because that is what people want to see (plus the stats are there), just think about how many sick passes he will dish out when he has all stars around him. Melo won't get voted in my opinion, he will be around the other top forwards, just not enough to make it.

LeBron could get inured (ala Grant Hill) and still get voted in. Some people may be sick of the hype, but the bottom line is he's that popular anyway.

If Vince wasn't heathly like last season I would without a doubt vote for Lebron...I hope he makes the team anyway.Would be just good to see him out there. However I want to see the Vince Carter that we all said "WOW..what a 360" " Did he just do that" "

I think the rookies should have to STAY to the rookie game, otherwise why have it!?

You guys should really dig down deep and launch those votes for Vince, if he leads the votes this year he'll be the only player in NBA history to ever lead it four times.

Don't be so sure about that.Lebron is very popular even more so than T-mac,Kidd and Pierce.AI is loved by alot of fans so it would be a close run thing between him and Lebron. There is a reason why games are soldout when Lebron comes to town.So Lebron starting is very possible. He won't make it in the reserves unless he is still putting up 17,7 and 7.As the coaches pick them (As I'm sure you know)

yeah but who cares how many games are left, your not voting the allstars who SHOULD be there because of stats or whatever, your voting who you WANNA see there.

I vote Vince not because he is or has been scoring 27ppg, I vote 'em because he's a dunkin' maniac and is awsome to watch in exhibition games like that.

The people I WANNA see are the people who SHOULD be there. Being an All Star has lost it's credibility because of fans who want to see dunks and highlights and have no appreciation for a player's contribution to his team and to the league. Being an All Star used to be one of the criterias for making it into the Hall of Fame, but voters will not be able to use it as a standard anymore because of the ridiculous fan voting habits. If you want to see Dunks, watch the Dunk contest, but keep the All Star game for the deserving players, not the most popular players.

Shape is right, all-stars shouldnt be determined on athleticism. If it was, Eddie Robinson would be on that ballot.
