<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Allen Iverson scored 15 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter and had 12 assists, leading the undermanned Philadelphia 76ers to a 100-96 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. Mark Jackson scored 16 and Aaron McKie added 14 for Philadelphia, which won its second straight despite missing its starting frontcourt. Tim Duncan had 35 points and 15 rebounds, Manu Ginobili scored 21 and Tony Parker had 19 for San Antonio. The NBA champions had won two straight since Duncan and Parker returned from ankle injuries. The Sixers were without forwards Kenny Thomas (back) and Glenn Robinson (ankle) and center Derrick Coleman (knee). They didn't need them as Iverson took control down the stretch</div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2003111420 Very good game..AI was simply amazing...Duncan and Manu both played great games but It wasn't enough.
as a sixers fan, i am stunned that they won this. especially with 3 of their big guys out. but allen played wonderful as did tim duncan.
I agree being that the first sixers game i've watched in a while I have to say Iverson played a hell of a game.Tim duncan played one to hurting his ankle again and still came back to finish the game. Lots of love to TD and AI lots of it
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Arthur:</div><div class="quote_post">AI for MVP ...sorry, but TD's run of 2 in a row is going to be ended by AI.</div> Sorry not going to happen Sixers won't win the east so he won't even have the chance to get it over any of the west superstars. The MVP award is staying in the western conference just like the title is.
