UNDERACHIEVING: PHOENIX SUNS: (3-6) 1) Does anyone else notice that Amare Stoudemire has only ONE asists this whole season??? 2) Marbury still takes the most shots on the team by FAR 3) Joe Johnson shoots like 36%, Penny should start 4) Coach is an idiot and doesn't know who to play ever 5) Should trade Joe Johnson for a better backup for Marbury and Penny like Wesley Person or Desmond Mason. ORLANDO MAGIC (1-9) 1) Juwan Howard and Drew Gooden just can't play together, one needs to be traded for a decent center. 2) Can you say Grant Hill? 3) Injuries to Giricek and Garrity 4) Need a backup guard for Lue and Mcgrady 5) Better defense Plus Point(s): lue is playing pretty well now given the chance CLEVELAND CAVALIERS: (3-7) 1) Silas should bench Ilgauskus and play Mihm more, he's just better 2) Miles can NEVER become an All-star 3) Backcourt is playing relatively well, except for defensem oh wait, thats important! 4) Road still a huge problem 5) Maybe do do need Wagner back Plus Point(s): Lebron is defying all odds, Boozer is a monster WASHINGTON WIZARDS: (3-5) 1) Kwame and Haywood are just total busts 2) Need more production from SF position 3) Need more production from frontcourt 4) Better peremiter defense 5) Arenas is taking too many shots somewhat Plus Point(s): Etan Thomas playing well MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES: (5-5) 1) I know Hudson and Wally are injured, but with Garnett, Sprewell, Casell on your team, should not be at .500 2) Olokowandi has abilityt o become the next Mutumbo, should really concentrate on defense more 3) Need more of a bench 4) Mchale sometimes stresses players too much 5) Maybe the cold weather gets to them Plus Point(s): Will get better through the season OVERACHEIVING TEAMS: MILWAUKEE BUCKS: (5-4) 1) Seriously, the Magic are 1-9, Nets are 5-5, how is this team over .500? 2) Redd will be an All-star 3) PG and bench are playing pretty well, Kukoc has been great, UTAH JAZZ: (5-5) 1) In the might West, they are at .500, that is just incredible 2) Found a worthy long term replacement for John Stockton in Arroyo 3) Harpring and Ostertag proved he can play without Malone and Stocton. Kirilenko holds this team together MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES: (5-4) 1) Jason Williams playing under control despite the low FG %age 2) Hubie Brown proves coaches are they key to success and not players 3) Gasol finally playing the way he should, good overall team defense GOLDENSTATE WARRIORS: (4-4) 1) No one thought Dunleavy would play this well when replacing Jamison 2) Richardson proving he is morw worthy than most people said 3) This is a goof fit for Van Exel, just needs to take better shots DENVER NUGGETS: (5-4) 1) Again, with no true Allstars, this team relies on defense and heart to win 2) Lebron is playing way better than Carmelo in every statistical category, yet Nuggets are aobve .500 in the West, where the Cavs are nowhere close to .500 3) Camby is finally playing to somewhat his best level 4) Nene is overcoming the Sophmore kinx 5) Miller, Barry, and Boykins are a great backcourt trio HOUSTON ROCKETS: (6-2) 1) Steve Francis bought into Gundy;s system of bball 2) Yao Ming should have been rookie of the year 3) Cato is just a beast on the boards and defense
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) I know Hudson and Wally are injured 3) Need more of a bench</div> Makes a lot of sense.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Silas should bench Ilgauskus and play Mihm more, he's just better</div> Mihm has played well the last few games, but being better than Z is a joke. 3-7, not bad with that tough schedule we opened up with, after all, we are the youngest team in the NBA. I won't say that Miles won't ever be an all star, he has the tools, but give him a break, he is just turned 23. He has been playing better, I don't like how him and Davis get mixed up a lot on how to defend a team when they are using a pick and roll on them. The problem with the Cavs is 4th quarter execution, they have been in every game this year but 1, they just have not been able to execute late as they start playing very hesitant. A veteran point guard to calm these team down late in games when things are tight is exactly what this team needs. They give Z the ball early, but seem to lose him as the game goes on, they ned to give him the ball more because no one can stop him, as the 76ers found out last night. For this being early on in the season, I am impressed. If we were getting blown out a handful of games, or only scoring 60 points ina game like many of these other clubs, then I would be very upset.
OMG did he just say mihm is better than z?? Last year z had 17 points 8 boards and 2 blocks per game Mihm had 6 points 4 boards and 1 block Thank god your not coachin my team Lebron is better in every category?? Is that why melo has more points per game?? and has less turnovers per game?? Everyone knew dunleavy would be that good.. thats why they made the trade genius!! anyways the surpise on the team is brian cardinal
Melo is scoring 1.1 more points per game than Bron. Bron is putting up only .6 more turnovers a game than Melo. Not a big difference there. Not many are talking about Melo's .357 FG%, a better shot selection is needed. The ball is been in Bron's court for the ROY since opening night. This is by no means a knock on my boy Melo, just pointing some things out.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting grizzoistight:</div><div class="quote_post">Lebron is better in every category?? Is that why melo has more points per game?? and has less turnovers per game?? </div> I'm a big Melo fan but the fact is Lebron is a better all-round player and he is doing better in every category but points per game and free-throw % lebron averages more rebounds,assists,FG%,three-point % and just edges him in steals So you were saying? Seriously why the hate for Lebron? was he the one who picked on you at St. Vincent-St. Mary? He didn't take your lunch did he? Your pocket money? C'mon man...Don't hold grudges...Lebron is in the NBA now he can't do that to you anymore
Melo has put in 2 awful games which have killed hs % .. The problem with denver is that he is the ONLY guy who can score on that team, they need to put in rodney white.. plus hes seeing a lot of doubles.. That and he is also settling for too many jumpers..
Tell that to Boykins. So he is not the only one, but that is the game Denver likes to play, slow it down, make it a scrapfest.

If you did you would know Earl Boykins,Andre Miller and Nene can all score the basketball.Earl has been the guy who has been the scorer when the game is on the line....Barry can hit the open shots...Lenard when he is on can score as well. I have seen quite alot of the Nuggets this season and Melo had had more than 2 bad games..He is forcing it too much...
Andre and Earl are averaging 15 each and Nene 11.. i guess thats balanced However the Cavs have 5 guys who average double figures.. So lebron def. isnt the only guy who is asked to score..
LeBron is our starting point guard, so of course not. His job is to get them looks, which he is doing.

Ill agree with u there.. However i really dont like the lineup of Andre at the point and earl at the 2.. It worked against the magic, thats becuz they have the worst defenders in the nba on that team.. I wish rodney white would get time, and skita would act. produce just a little
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Tell that to Boykins. So he is not the only one, but that is the game Denver likes to play, slow it down, make it a scrapfest.</div> that was lsat year. thats not the nuggets this year. we lead the league in fast break pts.
Please just edit your post when you want to add a small tidbit like you just did. Right now it kind of seems as if people are penalizing Carmelo for actually having a good point guard on his team. Carmelo's job on the Nuggets is to be their scoring threat and he is doing a pretty good job of that. He doesn't try to play out of his means and the only major problem seems to be his shot selection at times. Grizzo, Skeeta would produce if the Nuggets would be more consistent with him minutes. I believe they've been pretty up and down with how much they play him.
