DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks showcased their depth and Steve Nash made a little history in the process.

Nash recorded the first triple-double at the American Airlines Center as the Mavericks placed five in double figures and rallied for a 105-98 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Mavericks are averaging 98.9 points through 11 games and have six players that average at least 10 points per contest. Nash, Dirk Nowitzi, Antoine Walker, Tony Delk, Antawn Jamison and Michael Finley have the double-digit averages and while Delk didn't play due to a knee injury, the other five all had at least 10 points as Dallas improved to 5-0 at home.

But Nash played the biggest role as he registered his first career triple-double. In the 87th regular-season game in the building, Nash finished with 14 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. He also keyed an 18-6 run in the second half that helped the Mavericks rally from a 14-point deficit.

Dallas faced Portland for the first time since Game Seven of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs and outscored the Trail Blazers, 59-48, over the final 24 minutes.

Rasheed Wallace scored 31 points and Zach Randolph added 25 for Portland, which dropped its third straight road game.

Glad Mavs got the chemistry problems worked out.. Undefeated at home, and Dirk, Nash and Finley are playing good..Good Job keep up the good work

Good for Nash. He is the "glue" for the Mavs. One question: How the hell did he grab 10 rebounds?! [IMG]

nice win for the mavs..nice to see them getting their acts together...one thing bothering me though...98.9 ppg? shouldn't they be averaging 110-120? that's the gameplan accdg to them

They should be averaging more points. It's funny, because even though Walker is averaging more ppg than La Frentz did last year, Dirk Fin and Nash have all decreased their output.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the trade.
