http://www.nba.com/features/rankings_index.html Sonics and Clippers appear to have made the biggest jumps. My Blazers moved up two spots as well  .
Dang, they give Seattle credit (so did Marc Stein) and we go and drop one to the Heat at home. I like it better when we get written off!
The Jazz up to 14th now...They have been the surprise team so far.Carlos Arroyo has been the difference.
I still think that the Rockets are too high. I guess it's important to remember that power rankings are based on how teams have been playing recently, not necessarily the quality of the overall team.

I think they should be in the 7-8 range. They have shown that they can be a great team, they just havent had the full consitancy that you really need to be a top ranked team. They have had some good wins however they have have losses against a few Western Confrence Teams I personally dont think Indiana should be ranked #2. Sure they might have an unbeaten road record however they havent played any of the great Western Confrence Teams. There biggest wins to date were against Seattle, New Jersey, and Boston.
Lakers are at #1 again. Might not be that way after losing to the Pistons this week. Who knows though. Though, if Indiana continues to play well, I can see them being at the top of the charts next week.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Moo2K4:</div><div class="quote_post">If Indiana continues to play well, I can see them being at the top of the charts next week.</div> No doubt Indiana is the team to beat in the East so far, but something big (like Shaq going down AND one other future hall of famer) would have to happen to the Lakers for them to fall out of 1st for long. The Nets getting K-Mart back will boost them up.

So, just cause the Nets got KMart back, that won't instantly boost them in the ranks I think. They need to start winning some games before they get higher. And, just cause Shaq or a future hall of famer go down, doesn't mean LA is screwed. It won't be good, but, they won't be bad. They'll still have Kobe and some others.
