I would love to do it, but since he's injury prone, we don't need another injury prone guy on our team.

^Ha, thats NEVER going to happen, Brad Miller turned into one of the most important parts of the Kings
Yeah, there's no way the Kings would do it. Declerq would never play. And Brad Miller is better right now than Juwan. Maybe 2 years ago, but definitely not now.
What about a package of Howard, Andrew DeClerq, Tyronn Lue and Steven Hunter for Brent Barry and Jerome James?
Saw this on a board. Portland trades: Rasheed Wallace, Ruben Patterson, 2nd rd pick Portland gets: Eddie JOnes, Juwan Howard, Pat Garrity, Samaki Walker, Malik Allen --they unload of Wallace and get two veterans in Jones and Howard. Miami trades: Eddie Jones, Samaki Walker, Malik Allen, Caron Butler Miami gets: Rasheed Wallace, 2nd rd. pick, 2nd rd. pick --unload of jones' contract and get rasheed's ending deal Orlando trades: Juwan Howard, Pat Garrity, 2nd rd. pick Orlando gets: Caron Butler, Ruben Patterson --get rid of juwan and clear time for gooden and youth in butler.
This also. Orl trades: Howard/ Hunter/ Lue/ DeClerq Seattle trades: Barry/ J. James New team rotation. PG Barry / Williams / Strickland SG T-Mac / Bogans SF Giricek / Harvey PF Gooden / ... C James / Zaza Barry has excellent court vision with great passing, ball handling and shooting skills. He could really tidy up our offence while James can provide hustle and toughness on the inside that we need. I wouldn't mind giving up DeClerq much atall.
Rumoured trade from ESPN Radio in Memphis. Magic would Get: -Stromile Swift -Marko Jaric -Quentin Richardson Clipeers would Get: -Steven Hunter -Ryan Humphey -Tyronn Lue -Shane Battier Grizzlies would Get: -Juwan Howard -Reece Gaines -Eddie House -Peja Drobnjak I like this trade, we get Swift who could be our number one Center, Jaric to probably be a starting PG, and Q Rich to be our other scorer we desperately need.
Hey sportsrock, good news for you man, Toronto might be interested in DeClercq. The Star
Why would the Clippers do that deal though? I just don't understand why they would do it. Hell yeah, get rid of Declerq.
Teams Interested in Howard http://www.floridatoday.com/!NEWSROOM/spor...0MAGICNOTES.htm Howard bristled Friday at the rumors that the Magic might be shopping him around the NBA. Teams such as Minnesota, Denver and New York have been mentioned as having interest in the 30-year-old Howard. The 10-year veteran was signed in July by the Magic to a six-year, $38 million free-agent contract.
I don't see much that we can get for Howard from those 3 teams. New York just has bad contracts, Minnesota wouldn't give us enough for him, and Denver is young and wouldn't give up any of their young guys.

Hell yeah, get rid of Declerq.
Why do you hate declerq so much the guy is the best d player we have.He hustles all the time and unlike zaza and hunter he is a good finisher around the basket. I do think in the long run zaza will be better. But right now declerq is the best we have. Doc wasn't giving him any minutes and the d wasn't as good. He's not flashy but he gets the job done.
I love his hustle, but he doesn't finish good. He misses a bunch of layups and he's out of control. He's nothing special though. The only good things he does is draw charges and every once in awhile he'll get an easy dunk off of a great pass.

Hunter should be the best finisher but I have seen him get rejected straight up a lot of times. Zaza isn't athletic enough to be a good finisher right now.
