heres my rant: ok heres the scenario: 2:00 min to go... first and goal. you run the ball. you get stopped on the 5. you call a TO. COMMERCIAL. 2nd down. you run and you get to the 2. you call a TO. COMMERCIAL. 3rd down. you score. you kick the PAT. COMMERCIAL. then we do it all over again for the other team who is now trailing... anyone else ticked because of the commercials that slow down the game?
commercials dont really slow down the game i mean it would take that much time, watching them while there is a time out. players dont wait for commercials i mean i know you've seen them come back and the announcers say we missed a pitch in baseball or a play in football
Yea. there are frickn 15 minutes in each qrt. The game starts at 8 pm. All the sudden I turn my head at like 10 somen, and it isnt the 2nd half yet! 2 hrs and like 10 minutes go by, and its still like 0:14 in the 2nd qrt! And commercials really do blow when its reg season. Right before kickoff they go to the game, commercial, do kickoff, commercial.
but what i meant is that there are like 5 or 6 commercials in the 2 min. point because every one is using a TO. when i watch the final 2 min. i wanna watch football. not 1 play and then a commercial. they just repeat that phase 5 or 6 times
Hold on a second, when am i supposed to get myself a frosty cold beverage if not for commercials. When would i relieve myself of previously mentioned cold beverages if not for commercials. When would i meander to my computer to do internet check on stats of players i control in fantasy league to see how i am crushing my opposition, if no for commercials. Finally, how would i know which beer would make super hot chicks like me if not for commercials?!!?
Its not like its a sitcom and the game is just put on. And the commercials arent even on for that long. And on a commercial i like to make a sandwich or maybe grab a drink.
but i meant in the final 2 minutes when every time someone calls a TO theres a commercial. sometimes there 4 commercials in 2 min. does anybody get what im saying?
You know, it works out perfectly for the NFL. When the game gets the most tense (ideally) in the last 2 minutes of the game, they can pack in tons of commercials because of time outs. Just one more reason why the NFL is the most successful pro sports organization out there. I don't like all the commercials, but then again I have a wife to get that frosty beverage.
the commericals are always set. -after punts. -after PAT -After KO(after PAT) -TOs -Injuries -Change of Quarter the problem i got, is its a TD, then PAT, then commerical, then KO then commerical. thats the only beef i got with it.
