A typical first game, penalties, dropped balls, and a few injuries. At least it was competative until the very end.
Yea, when they get to their 3rd strings it really isnt an exciting game anymore, I'm usually going who is that? And when did he sign with them? Plus you cant really tell anything talent wise, cuz they dont use there starters the whole time, so you def cant say like the Redskins can take the Broncos again in the reg season
Actually the excitement was lacking UNTIL the 3rd. As is the case in most preseason games the reserves put forth the most effort b/c they're fighting for jobs.
I just having trouble getting excited that some guy who will be bagging my groceries, and cooking me a mcmeal next week, just made a 4 yard run. Maybe it is just me.

Its all good because we were all hungry for football.....but to a point, BF1 is right. Jansen is a huge loss. Although he is on the right side, he is the typical left tackle because Brunnell is a lefty. That will hurt the Redskins big time.
First Impression = Sean Taylor will be the rookie of the year and be selected to the next 15 pro bowls....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bucs40etrain)</div><div class='quotemain'>Huge huge loss, losing jansen. This hurts portis and it difintly hurts the qbs.</div> I'm with Bucs on this... Jansen getting hurt was the biggest single happening in the game. Brunell didn't look especially sharpe, and Portis looked ok, but the line didn't look great. And with Jensen hurt, it could be a long seson for little Portis.
Clinto looked like dog terds. He is gonan end up like every other RB that left Denver, crap. Definitely not 1500 yd form with the Redskins this yr. I guarantee it.
Portis has enough talent he wont be to badly set back by this, besides the line is better at pass blocking, and only average at best run blocking.
My guess is he just squeezes past 1000. He won't get the 2 token 250-yard games against my chiefs in his new division.
So, he did it on the Broncos, who are known for creating a good running game. When was the last time a you ever saw a great RB in Wash? My point. I dont think they have ever had a 1500 yd rusher, in their history, I dunno
It does not matter he did it with broncos, ECO, TD did not do it with broncos and he had elway in the backfield, and alll this talk about how they can make any back successful is ridiculous. Most of the backs they plugged in only averaged 4 ypc they just got a lot of carries and it made them look good, otherwise they would not have used a 2nd rnd pick on portis, he is a gamebreaker. Also, who cares what Washington had in the past it is the present that counts.
