The executive said the Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors are the teams involved. The deal with the Trail Blazers, the executive said, would include multiple players, while a deal with Chicago or Toronto could involve Jalen Rose, but Rose wouldn't necessarily join the Cavs. </div>
Why not, he has the tools to fit in any offense. I just don't like his attitude and don't want him here.
Did you guys see Rose yesterday against the lakers? Man, talk about lackluster effort. He barely ran, when he missed a shot he would pause (i guess in frustration) rather than running back on defense.
Rose will be like that no matter where he plays, has been that way his whole career and it won't change.
If they do a trade with the Blazers I hope it involves Rasheed Wallace. Although the player involved will likely be Bonzi Wells, I think that Wallace will bring veteran leadership that they don't have right now and that Bonzi can't bring to the table. Rasheed will also help them execute their game plan to it's fullest extent in the fourth quarter and ultimately win games as a result, because if you step back and look at Cleveland you'll see that they are missing someone who can step up and carry the team in the fourth quarter. The team is young and will thus blow the game in the final minutes. Wallace has experience and can put an end to that. Bonzi Wells will just add more attitude and immaturity.
The pieces rumored are to be Davis and Ilgauskas to Portland for Rasheed Wallace. The Chicago rumors swirling around are something to the effect of Rose/Marshall for Davis/Peterson/Williams - But Ive also heard rumors that M.Bradley(Tor) and L.Baxter(Chi) could also be involved. - I also read where its supposed to be a smaller trade, not a larger trade. There is too many rumors going on, and they seem to contradict the previous rumors heard. I wonder if something will happen, or if trade talks will break down. Should be an interested 48 hours(trades can't be official until the league office opens Monday).

I thought he was skating on thin ice over in Portland. However, I'm not surprised that Peterson and Williams will likely be involved in the Cleveland trade. They are great players who are not getting the burn they deserve. Both of their stats have dropped off greatly so far this season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wave:</div><div class="quote_post">I am surprised that Bonzi Wells has not been included in trade talks. Recently his co-captain status was revoked, but the fact that he was co-captain in the first place shows how important he is to us. Besides, I have gotten the impression that Cheeks does not have very much faith in Derek Anderson. If Bonzi leaves, we lost our shooting guard. Yes, I realize that Davis is a shooting guard, but we don't need a go-to-guy anymore, Randolph is tearin' it up.
A Davis for Wells deal has been disussed but right now the Cavs aren't buying into it.They want something added in.Likely only because of Bonzi's terrible attuide as of late...My guess is Bonzi stays in Portland til the deadline. Derek Anderson IF he can stay heathly should be able to cover for Bonzi's scoring...DA is still one of my favourite players..He is a great guy off the court too  something that seems to be lacking at the Blazers these days.
i dont give a flying fark who goes where, as long as the raps get some offence <font color="blue">Was it really necessary to post that in this thread? It has nothing to do with the topic on hand. Please make posts that are relevant to the thread subject. Thanks - dexter</font>
