What if VC and Tmac and Stoudamire were still on the same team?

They'd be a top team in the east, but have no chance against the west.

i think that is too much to share the ball...one of them would have to give up their shots and i dont see tmac or vince doing taht...i also dont think Tmac would of blown up like he did

What if........this was posted in the Raptors forum where I'm sure you could get a great discussion/debate going with all the TO faithful.

    yah, good lookin out...

just got to me that The raps actually had a great load of players that they passed on....

in your opinion, what would be the best bunch of players, the raptors have ever assembled?

I still think the T-Mac/VC combo was the best one...along with Doug, AD and all them others...D Brown...

What if we took Randolf instead of Bradley?

^^ i doubt zach randolf would have recieved minutes had he played under lenny....

i think his career would have mimicked what Bradley's career is now...
    toronto's roster is "loaded"
while portlands managed to have some empty holes that needed to be filled from scotties departure...it was more of a sleeper draft pick that becomes your nightmare years later...you just don't know

People keep saying that one star would take shots away from another. Maybe that's true but the way I see it the main thing is that they'd be taking shots away from the not so stellar player they'd be replacing on the floor. I would take Vince, T-Mac, Stoudamire any day of the week. T-Mac is a great player and that was becoming obvious while he was still in Toronto. He'd be winning a lot more if he were still there with Mighty Mouse and Vince.
Also on the "What if" riff, What if we had Tony Parker instead of Bradley?

i dont think we're missing out on much...damon has proved nothing but inconsistant and a head case, his best season was his ROY season.

    ^hehe,...

I was just getting big in basketball just when T-Mac Left. But ... would McGrady have even had the same superstar performances if he had stayed? Would he have had the chance to grow as a player?

otherwise...i would take that combo That would be great. But as Trail Blazers says..Focus on the future. Its behind the raptors.

Yea, cuz all those games where Vince was injured, T-mac would've stepped up and become the man. I think T-mac would have eventually become the first option.

I know that the question "what if?" doesn't really get you anywhere but it can be fun and is a hell of a lot more interesting than some other threads I've seen. If you would prefer to look ahead at the future of the Toronto Raptors please feel free. I'd love to talk about that too. For now this is the place to play the "what if" game. It's something that sports fans everywhere do. (my favourite is what if MJ hadn't left to play baseball...or what if the Bulls hadn't split up when they did?) So on with the game. Spawn asked a question and I'd be interested to hear what people had to say about it.

2000/01 because that team went to the semis... Todays Raptors are missing leaders like Oakley, Childs, and Curry
