Are Jamison's talent going to waste behind Walker..i think he has the potential to be an all star but i think dallas is holding him back...what do you guys think...i know he is a good 6th man but...personally i would start him over walker...what do you guys think
For one thing, this should be in the Mavs forum. Second, Walker fits in the system better. They are both good scorers, around 19-23 ppg scorers. But Walker is a better 1)Shooter 2)Passer 3)Rebounder Walker is a perfect fit. Jamison could be traded for a good C. Maybe they can get Etan Thomas (i doubt it)

the only reason that i would take jamison over antonie is because antoine left the impression on me(in boston) jacks way to many threes up and doesnt pass enough...that is why i wouldnt make a great head coach..can some one move this to the mavs forum?
Jamison is getting wasted and thats too bad. But Walker is the better player of the two (not the best shooter though) and they both play the same position. I wish SADAM (Steve, Antawn, Dirk, Antwan, And Findog) could start, but the only option for center is Dirk and that will NOT work. But at the end of the game they should have SADAM on the floor in close games at all times. I hope Jamison doesn't get traded, cause hes better than any big man the mavs could get. I think in the next few weeks the mavs will be smoking the competition and all will be well. Heres to hoping.
Now I have to come in here. Dirk could play center, this is the way I see it most pople would say "He wont be able to stop Shaq" but who can? Nobody can stop Shaq or Duncan. Putting Dirk at C would put them all on the floor and the question wouldnt be how would they be able to stop Shaq/Duncan.. the question would be how will they stop the Mavs.. because I highly doubt there will be a day EVERYBODY will be off..

Putting Dirk at the C position will put him in foul trouble as well as wear him out. Id rather have Najera, Fortson, Bradley (the 3 headed monster) at the C each taking fouls and being aggresive in the paint, while Dirk roams at the PF or SF making shots and passing to open teammates when hes double teamed. His rebounding isnt needed as much as it was last season so hes free to hang out at the perimeter where im sure we all agree hes the best option out there.
