What you are seeing is the blocking of an ad. The word being filtered is in the web address of the hyper-link leading to a sale item. Putting a web address in the context of a post to point out articles or items is not advertising. Putting a direct link to an item or service you are trying to sell is advertising. The easiest way to block the selling of items on this website is to block the site name. Otherwise the admin. would have to continuously block each hyper-link (specific address) as they showed up.

If you have further questions you should send a PM to the Admin.

The mods fight an ongoing battle to keep this site free of unwelcome advertising....you can still mention the site name if your creative....the reason I blocked the name itself(yeah that was me), was to deactivate the hyperlinks that some were using to slip in thier auctions...if you want to mention the site, break it up, such as "E-Bay"
