Yea Gooden had a good game last night. He racked up 16 points and 12 rebounds. When are they gonna start him? Lue also did well with 20 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds.
No, they'd rather have Howard being scoreless(like last night) than actually trying to win with Gooden in the starting lineup.
Nothings "wrong" with him. The entire team is just playing terrible right now, and he has had some off nights. Right now he just needs to start, it will really help build his confidence. He is currently leading the Magic in rebounds and they could use his engery. Juwan Howard is the biggest problem to Gooden's play. With the two of them playing together Gooden looks lackluster in every aspect.
He had another good game, 21 and 12 against Duncan. His main problem to me is he's too wild. He seems to feel like whenever he gets the ball he has to shoot. He hardly ever seems to pass when he gets the ball downlow on offense. Start Gooden and bench Howard.
Gooden is uncoordinated, so what seems wild to you is normal for him. and When Gooden gets the ball down low people are usually standing around at the 3 point line so he really has nowhere to pass it to, and the result of that is usually Gooden forcing a shot. but he still is a great player and should be in the starting lineup.
Drew Gooden should start over Howard, i think Howard will care less if he comes off the bench if they win. and lol at Drew Gooden's sig "Magic will win 64 straight and finish the season 65-17"

Actually he had 23 and 15 against Duncan. He is really playing well, it seems like whichever of the 2(Howard and Gooden) comes off the bench, they do a lot better than the other.
