Since the all-star game is like a popularity contest, lets sit down and name some players who deserve to make it but probably won't.

    1. Zach Randolph 20.7 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 2.7 apg

He might have a shot at making it, if someone sits out or gets hurt. But I don't see a way he can get voted in. But why does something tell me the players who don't deserve to get in over him like Shawn Marion, Dirk, and probably even Chris Webber.

    2. Eric Dampier12.6 ppg, 13.9 rpg, 1.6 bpg

Dampier is playing like the second best center in the West right now, but theres probably a very slim chance he'll get on there. But we know Ming is going in front of him.

    3. Gilbert Arenas 20.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 5.5 apg

You would think anyone with those kind of stats would get it. Arenas is playing great this season, but theres only so much he can do on a team with Stackhouse hurt, but I can actually call the Wizards having a "solid" record in the east.

    4. Ron Artest 18.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 3.4 apg, 2.3 spg

His stats don't show for how hard he plays on the court, he was snubbed last year, and might be again this year. Big work ethic, plays his heart out, he sure as heck deserves to be there this year.

    5. Baron Davis 25.0 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 8.1 apg, 2.8 spg

Yea, yea, he's playing like one of the best players in the NBA right now, if not the best. But what makes you think he will get voted over the usuals(Jason Kidd, Tracy Mcgrady, Allen Iverson, possibly Paul Pierce). He might make it, I'm not saying it's impossible, it will be a robbery if he doesn't.

Just stating 5 for now, theres more out there probably, anybody have any others?

Snubs will be the forwards out west. Every year people like Elton Brand (inj. this year), Paul Gasol, Rashard Lewis put up big numbers but because of the sheer amount of good western forwards it's inevitable that worthy players miss out. Shouldn't be any different this year with 'Toine coming into the conference and having a good year.

Unless BDiddy has a major drop off, I don't think there's any chance he doesn't get voted in by the coaches.

Out of everyone in that list, Baron will be the only one to make it.

all-stars aren't about how your team is doing. It's about what the players are putting up...If you don't think he deserves to start because of the way he is playing then you are crazy.

What are you talking about grizzo? Tmac deserves to start, he's having a great season. His team sucks, but he's still avg 26 ppg, can't complain about that. Baron will definetely make all-star game, unless he gets injured.

Another person whom I'm amazed you people have mentioned none of is Flip Murray. He's having a sensational season, 24 ppg and like, 6th in the league in scoring. He's playing as good of ball as anyone in the league. But, since no one has ever heard of him and also since he plays out West with players like Kobe, Marbury, and Francis, I highly doubt he gets voted in.

Ron Artest and Baron Davis will be all stars, lets not forget, the fans only call the starters. T-Mac will be there too, Flip Murray is slipping.

Big deal hes averaging 26 .. thats like saying stackhouse should have started becuz he avereged 25 a couple years ago on a ****** team.. or jalen rose!!
I know tmac is a great player.. but someone else should start over him, magic fans need to blame tracy just as much as the other guys in the organization

TMac has played better than almost everyone out in the east this year. He's kept his team close, but, when it's on the line, he never gets the ball. The Magic have had a lot of heart breaking and close losses. If it wasn't for TMac, they'd never be in a game. He does deserve to start.

How can you blame this on Tracy? There is only so much one man can do for a team. He is doing his part. Maybe his teamates should start doing theirs?

If Zach Randolph keeps up his current numbers, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him getting in by coaches votes. Flip's had a couple of bad games, which doesn't surprise me as teams know what he can do now and he's got to adjust to the extra pressure. Dampier would make it if it wasn't for Yao, cos there aren't many worthy western centres behind Shaq, and considering Yao will likely get voted in then Shaq will be his reserve.

See, that's a crap statement there. He does have good players on his team. Juwan Howard is a very good player. Drew Gooden is an excellent young player, and so is Tyronn Lue. They're just having problems putting it all together right now. They rely on Tracy way too much.

    Career PPG
    Howard: 17.8
    Gooden: 12.1 (14 in playoffs)
    Giricek: 12.1
    Lue: 7.4 (12.6 this year)

Pat Garrity's 10 a game have been missed, but still, as Moo said, this team has talent.

Magic have one win, so as you say T-Mac has kept them close and you asked where the Magic would be without him.

Well I ask, where would the Cavs be without LeBron James, and we have more wins.

I love playing a little devils advocate.
