you all heard this story, about LTs contract extension. If u didnt, here http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?i...TC-DT9705204233 SOOOOOOO lets revisit that year that San Diego had the first pick. the consenus number1 pick for all scouts, was mike vick, BUT mike vick and the chargers couldnt agree on a contract. sounds like this year in a way, but anyway So now in 2004 LT is by-far the best offensive player in the league, IMO the most exciting, and has been consistently good, durable, and GREAT. Mike Vick so far has been crowned the great 1, the most exciting player in the league, and has the media on his nuts 24-7. not to mention its his 4th season, and hes only played all 16 once. LT's career stats. 1024-Carries 4564 Yards 4.5 Average 37 TD-- 238 REC 1581 Yards 4 TD Mike Vick G GS COM ATT PCT YDS YPA LNG TD INT SK SYD RAT ATT YDS AVG LNG TD 28 21 331 634 52.2 4306 6.79 74 22 14 65 394 76.3 182 1331 7.3 46 10 Who got the better deal? i think its SD, but we know what LT will do over the next 9 years, what mike Vick CAN do is unknown, Vick has more potential, but LT has already reached his and still might be better. o yea can i mention that 52 COM% is one of the worse, and mcnabb's best year is better than vicks career and best year. FYI
and this is basically whative been saying ALL ALONG!!!!! except w/ knowledge and no LT.... good points dawk
