This game could be the start of the Toronto Raptors season with Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter where a Raptors uniform for the first time. I'm not sure what to say what the Raptors should do because this team will be very different. One of Jalen, Alvin or Vince needs to play tough defence on Allen Iverson. Dont let Mckie and Jackson dominate like last game.

Philidelpia 76ers Keys to the Game.
Players other than Allen Iverson must score. The Raptors have a good half court defence so Eric Snow or Allen Iverson must push the ball. I think Marc Jackson will have a good game because the Raptors dont have a banger but Jerome Moiso played pretty good defence on Brian Grant. Take advantage of Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall on defence.

gotta have a team effort in this one.,, and Alvin has to play good D on AI !

Boshand Vince must have a good game.. and team effort on the glass .. if the raptors do those things .. a Victory is guarenteed !

Im not sure if i want to watch Jalen Rose (one of my favorite players) in a Raptors jersey.

Stat Leaders
Toronto:
Jalen Rose-25 pts 5 reb 3 ast--- He finds his shot and helps out Vince
Vince Carter- 29 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast
Donyell Marshall- 11 pts, 7 reb

Sixers:
Allen Iverson- 36 pts, 5 reb, 8 ast--- He is going to carry the team like always...
Eric Snow- 12 pts 10 ast--- He's going to be a key contributer

Final Prediction:
Sixers 94
Raptors 99<

Here is an Interesting thing. The Raptors Starting lineup has about 14 inches on the 76ers. That is alot and the Raptors dont even have a tall lineup. The Cavs probably have like 20 inches on the 76ers.

Could someone sticky this? I think its a good idea to sticky the game threads. Then un-sticky them a day after the game.

This is the great job you should always do KC! Nothing against you, or nothing because im a 76er fan, but I think 76ers will come out on top. Toronto, much improved, key players Rose and Marshall coming in, but Philly is one of the dominant teams in the East and I think they have the advantage.

I dont think the Raps can win. Phily is a great team and with the Bulls trade the Raps have no defense. Should be pretty easy for the 76ers.

You have a lot of free time KC. Well, Raps are donig great, they have 51 first half points, and there is great ball movement. We are actually surviving on the boards without AD and JYD. Baxter is grabbing boards, Marshall is having a great scoring game and rose is having a good passing game.

Raptors up 51-41 at the half. I love this new team. Donyell Marshall has 13 points and 5 boards(he can shoot the lights out). Vince has 7 points and 8 ast. Alvin Williams had 8 straight points for the Raptors. Bosh has 8 pts and 5 boards. Jalen has 4 pts and 5 ast. Allen Iverson and Marc Jackson are keeping the sixers in the game with 14 and 12. Oh and Mo Peterson was very nice off the bench.

Wow Philly lost [IMG] 95-88. Marshall was the key player! 27 pts, and 4-5 from the arc. Damn! VC beatiful passing. 12 assists. Anyone see that fake behind the back and then wrap around the front to Lonny Baxter for the slam? Beatiful play by Toronto I must say on my 76ers. Close game overall. Philly fought well and managed to keep it close in the 3rd-4th quarter, then a run came for Toronto, and we didnt have anything left. Our C, M. Jackson injured finger and out so Kenny Thomas and Amal McCaskill had to go on with Bosh who had 11 rebs and was a monstor in the paint. Must say, nice dunks for the former Yellow Jacket. Great win Toronto. Great game.

(I love the new look for the Raptors.)

Great game. I think we will see Vince's asist number increase. Alvin Williams was money. Jalen played alot of point guard and Alvin play some shooting guard. Marshall was huge for the Dinos. Bosh played very well. AI got to the line alot. The Raptors almost blew another game. Vince Carter is Mr 4th Quarter.

-Yeah great win for the raps, If they keep this up there would be no telling what hey could do this season. They got to keep in mind that they need a big man because they will need them vs the West.

-I was very happy that Vince dished out 12 assists for the raptors. He also made key shots in the 4th. Philly played with alot of heart, this game could have gone to either team. Also, I knew Aaron Mckey was a good three point shooter but damn this man is amazing! Give props to AI, he made the raps suffer at the free throw line.

-Did anyone else see AI through the ball at VC's back then when Vince looked at him and turned around, AI hit the ball of Vince's back again. That was hilarious.

Kid, great job on the preview! As per your request I'll sticky the next one. As for the game I have to admit that when I saw the Dog have a solid game in Chicago I was worried that we'd done something wrong, and this trade was going to hurt Toronto. Now however (and I realize that it's only one game) it looks like both teams won out. Marshall surprised me with a big game. We were worried about boards but with him and Baxter combining for 16 and Bosh grabbing 11 well? all of a sudden things don?t look so bleak. Wonderful showing by the "New Look Raptors". Hopefully this is a glimpse into the future
