    Kind of late, but interesting.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pistons coach Larry Brown returned to Philadelphia Wednesday night and lost to his former team. How was he treated? Some highlights and lowlights of the game:

    * The Philadelphia Daily News got into a Thanksgiving mood by superimposing Brown's face on a turkey and putting it on the cover of the newspaper (right) with the headline "Larry, you turkey!"

    * Many Sixers fans booed and taunted Brown throughout.

    * Fans' signs included "Judas" and "Our team never quits -- only our former coach does." But also, "Larry Brown, Thanks."

    * Brown blamed the media circus for the fans' behavior. "My family has to come and listen to junk because of you guys," he told reporters. Brown's wife and one of his sons were in the crowd.

    * According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, inside Brown's locker were two 20-ounce plastic bottles of Coke, a black pinstripe suit, still inside a plastic cleaners bag, and a black carry-on travel bag with a 76ers logo. Someone get this guy a Pistons bag!

    * Pistons guard Richard Hamilton described it best: The fans "see him like an old girlfriend coming back."</div>

Some of the signs were hillarious, and some were just plain old mean. That's Philly for you!

Sixer fans should of cheered him for what he had done for them.He turned them from a lottery team (22-60) to a top east contenders while getting his team to play hard on both ends every night.I reckon what Rip said was pretty much spot on.

I pity Larry. It seems that the good things he has done for Philly was forgotten.

    That's Phili for ya.

Will never change, the most stubborn fans in all of sports.

ESPN always reminds us of that with countless memories.

Larry Brown - My favorite coach of all time! Used to like Phil Jackson until he went to the Lakers.

And yes KJ, we hold our description/title proudly.

Trailblazer- You thought New York has the most stubborn? Come on down to Phila.
