Been rooting for them ever since growing up. Was a big Derrick Coleman, Drazen, and KA fan..Big fan of Kittles since he's been so loyal..If the Nets trade Kittles, I won't have too much beef but I certainly do think that the Nets should retire his jersey when his career is over. Now, with Kidd, Kmart and Jefferson, the Nets have a solid core to compete for the future. I expect big changes over the summer and a return to the finals.

Name: Kobi How long have you been a Nets fan: 3 years Favorite Nets player of all time: Dr.J Favorite current Nets player: Richard Jefferson Reason I love the Nets: I lived in Jersey for 5 1/2 years, and after the 01 offseason trade that got us Kidd I really got involved. I got season tickets for the 01-02, 02-03, and 03-04 seasons, and was amazed at how such a terrible team could go on to the NBA Finals the following 2 seasons, and win their division 3 times straight. Since they got Jefferson from Houston, I knew he was going to be a star one day if he worked on his jump shot and defense. Back then he was a slasher, but now he has matured a lot and can hit the 18 footer. K-Mart was another favorite of mine, but in my mind he still didn't have as much potential as R.J. Kidd really helped the team out, but now they're back where they started: destined for a .500- record, and all because of the stupid new owner, Bruce Ratner.
