All Position Team

I need your help since I dont have a great knowledge base about the history of the game. But I'm doing this with a funky twist. What I want people to do are make teams of that pure position with a starting 5 (PG, SG, SF, PF, C) in each position.
For Example

All Center Team:

PG: Shaq
SG: Hakeem
SF: Russell
PF: Abdul-Jabbar
C: Wilt Chaimberlain

So come up with your ideas on the all-point guard, the all-shooting guard, the all-small forward, the all-power forward, and the all-center teams.

 

ALL POINT GUARD TEAM:

PG: John Stockton
SG: Pete Marovich/Bob Cousy
SF: Magic Johnson
PF: Isiah Thomas
C: Jason Kidd



Thats the best I can do

 

6th: Bob Cousy

Put Jason Kidd at PF, he gets better than 7 boards a game

 

All PF Team

PG: Scottie Pippen (sometimes plays the 4)
SG: Dolph Schayes
SF: Karl Malone
PF: Charles Barkley
C: Tim Duncan

ok, i like joey's SF team but maybe with big "O" in there. pg team would be pg:stockton sg:franchise sf:magic pf:j kidd cenny(magic days) shooting guard team pgistol pete sg: MJ(of course) sf:clyde pf: kobe c: ? how bout bron in ten years ?

Please go to the library and read as many books as you can about the history of the NBA. NBA.com also has a history section.

No offense, but this is terrible.

 

Francis is not even a real point guard.He is a pretty bad one actually..even though he is a very good player.Stockton should be on everyone's list as top point guard of all-time.

 

And Pippen is not a PF and should not be on anyone's PF list.

This is not directed only at allnet, but I really think that very few of you realize just how good Oscar Robertson was.

Instead of simply blatantly criticizing the people who started the thread and responded to it, why not give them suggestions on a better, more accurate topic to discuss? Why do you feel that this thread is "terrible"? Fill us in on what you think- I bet people were left in the dark on why exactly you thought that this was a bad topic to discuss.

Oscar was truely great,I don't want to take anything away from him but Stockton was the best overall point guard this league has seen but that is only my opinion.I have watched alot of tapes of Oscar and seen even more of Stockton.I just feel Stock was that true point that you could always depend on.The level of play changed from when Oscar had played to when Stockton did so you can't just go by stats.
