Rose and Carter a poor mans Jordan and Pip? Now I'm not saying that the Raptors are the second coming of the Bulls with Jordan and Pip, but this is a chance to see how much chemistry these guys have with each other and what the outcome will be. I don't see anyone in the east with this sort of combo at all, especially with Rose playing the Pippen to Carter's Jordan (Slight Exaggeration, but it could somewhat happen). Even with Lebron James playing with Ricky Davis, I still see Carter and Rose better because they are two unselfish players, not one. Add in a bulkier Chris Bosh next year and you could be looking at a contender for the East next year. Anyone else have any opinions?
Need more rebounding... dont have a rodman-like player like the bulls did... will get torn up by the west 9 times out of 10, just because of the lack of big men... you cant expect bosh to do it all. as for the east... not many good big men at ALL, with the exception of jermaine o'neal and a few others.. they should nail down a top 5 playoff spot if carter and rose have any chemistry

i agree...with bosh developing the way he is, hes going to be a force in the next couple years...i see him being a 20 & 10 player in two seasons. hes growing fast, and his game is versatile...its only a matter of experience, and the sky is the limit for this kid. if rose and vince can play well together...we could be lookin at a really sick team, and the trio of vince, jalen, bosh are a SOLID nucleus to build around...if we could land a decent center, the raps would be most certainly contenders for the east...especially if we keep the core of our team around off the bench ie: alvin, lammond, donyell. too bad magloire re-signed in new orleans...hed be a perfect fit
