Man, that pistol whipping the Seahawks dealt the Pack last night was brutal! The first unit looked okay, but everything else was pretty weak. I think the Pack should drop their 3rd round pick punter and sign the rookie that Seattle had last night. That kid could kick! Couch looked awful, but I'll cut him some slack because of the sore arm and only having two or three weeks to learn the offense. Saw a few bright spots. Carroll looked pretty good. Lee looked good. I guess this is what pre-season's all about...building the best roster you can with what you have to work with.
The Seahwaks definitely look tough. But it's only preseason. I think the Pack will be fine. Favre was 3-5 and Green was 6 for 24 yards. Both respectable numbers. Still the tops in the North until someone knocks them off.
The game was pretty bad. To me it shows more than anything that the Pack doesn't have much depth. They will be ok as long as they stay healthy.
IMO... they couldve won if couch wasnt playing... he kept under throwing his recievers. thats why favre is the QB
