    Three games? Puh.

Clutch is not just making buzzer beating shots. Its about the WHOLE 4th quarter and about how you play in important games. Therefore, althought Billups still is very good, I would put Marbury over him.

You can't really say clutch is the WHOLE 4th qrter, but its when you play with A LOT OF PRESSURE, which makes it clutch.

Those final minutes are clutch because of pressure, beginning of 4th isn't really clutch.... how you end the game is clutch.

You can say important games are too, I understand that...

Well, your right. Not the whole quarter. But the last 5 minutes at least.

But definately big games are. Obviously in the playoffs most of the games would be considered clutch games. Being clutch is making a shot or playing good when your team needs you most. (at least my interpritation)

NVE is more clutch than Marbury, its known that he has hit more clutch shots. Clutch isn't just game winners are you said, but NVE is great with those "cold veined" shots. You can't argue with that, maybe Billups and Marbury and NVE would be the guy to go to in clutch time.

That is fair enough. Anyone of them would be great in the clutch. I would personally want NVE with the ball for reasons already discussed.

Billups hit maybe 7 game winners last season.Considering how close the east was that is HUGE.Those kind of plays make a big difference...proof Pistons win 50 instead of around 43/44.I feel save a game will be won when the ball is in his hands. He was also clutch in last night's win over the Knicks.

Nah, cos then we gotta give you a bunch of teammates to prevent Horry getting double teamed, a dominant bigman so Horry can get open on the perimeter or a bunch of guys to set him screens to lose his defenders ... [IMG]

ummm J-Mac, have you even read the rest of the thread dude? We've already discussed that Reggie Miller IS one of the top clutch players of all-time, and that he would be on this list if it were all-time. However, he's old right now, and this is a list of who you'd want on your team RIGHT NOW. There's no need to call him an idiot just because YOU didn't read the thread.

I dont know if any of you guys remember the LAST GAME EVER at Boston Garden. It was Lakers vs Celtics. Huge historical implications. It was about two seconds left, Lakers down (by 1 or 2, i forget), Nick catches the inbound pass, turns with a man in his face, and drills a 30 foot 3-point shot while falling out of bounce. Classic....

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">TD is a huge improvement than Shaq, free throw wise.</div>

Not huge by any means. If it was last years playoffs, about the same.

    Earl Boykins, hands down.

PG- Sam Cassell( score the last 7pts against the Knicks in game 5 or 6(cant remember which one but its the game the rockets won) of the NBA finals as a rookie, 23pts in the game 4 of the 95 finals against the Magic, 33pts on baron Davis in the 01 playoff, a must win game for bucks won were down 3-2 to the hornets, countless clutch shots/performances threw out his career)
PG- Jason Kidd(has made every single big play/shot during the the Nets back/back eastern Conference Championship teams)
G- Reggie Miller( if you remember Knicks/pacers playoff games than you know how clutch this man is he is) if you took a survey of NBA a players & the the question was if you needed a player to shoot for you in the last 2 minutes of a ball game most players would vote reggie over every perimeter player in the league even with reggie's carreer being on a down slide the man is jordan clutch.
forward- Robert Horry(kid was clutch ever since is rocket days, Sacromento fans have nightmares about Robert Horry)
C- Shaq(people may not on to think this is true but Shaq actually shoots free throws better in the Clutch or in Clutch situations. '01 playoffs Portand tryed to use a hack a shaq on him down the stretch of a few of those games and shaq stepped to the line & made his free throws, its been other occasions as well) If i need a 2-point basket down the strech of a tie ball game I giving the ball to the most dominate force in basket ball. I think you just have to have a player that can get him the ball right under the basket were teams have to just let him go up for two because they know he is so strong he can turn your decision to foul into an And 1 on your best big man(which will kill a teams spirt in the clutch like the famous Kobe to Shaq alley oop play a couple of seasons back in the playoffs

Thanks Henacy for giving love to my man Kidd. hehehe...

    1. Kidd (I can still remember the shot he made against Detroit. Plus he can really tear it up in the 4th)
    2. VC or Tmac (Do you remember their last game?)
    3. Boykins (their team won a lot of games because of his 4th quarter greatness)
    4. Reggie Miller (The Pacers will still give the ball in his hands during the clutch and he can still deliver)
    5. KG (If you want a big man in the clutch, you'd want someone who can shoot from the inside and outside)

Oh and I wouldn't want Shaq during the clutch.

Oh you'd have to pick Billups. But has everyone forgotten that Mr. Clutch is still playing, Reggie!

    PG: Billups
    SG: Miller Time! (Reggie)
    SF: VC
PF: Im mixed between Dirk and KG
    C: Shaq

As much as I love Reggie, I'd be picking someone like Kobe or Pierce who are not only clutch shooters, but can create their own shot in an end of game situation. If it's a jumper I need i'll pick Reggie everytime, but in overall clutch play I pick Kobe or Pierce becuase they can create their own shot, whereas Reggie really needs a bunch of screens set.

bai... i mean what are you talkin about?

You would start Reggie over Kobe? lol I'm sorry but i don't think so.

Nah but fo real, Reggie can't produce enought clutch shots as much as kobe can. You gotta create for Miller, Kobe will create it himself.
