if we are talking about the very last shot of the game, i'd want a pure shooter. someone they will be afraid to foul and therefore will have a better chance to get open in the perimeter. peja, ray allen or allan houston fit the bill. i still remember the shot allan houston made with dan majerle on his face in one of those heat-knicks playoff battles.

all time, regie miller and larry bird.

No disrespect to anybody personally but by looking thru this thread & looking at some of the people you guys have listed as clutch. It really makes me wonder if people know what clutch is. Just because you can shoot that doesnt make you clutch. Just because you had one good playoff run that doesnt make you clutch. Just because you hit a few shots at the end of a few regular season games that doesnt make you clutch. 90% of the people you guys named are not clutch.Stop watching so much sportscenter, its starting to have a negative affect. Just because they say someone is clutch doesnt really mean they are clutch. Its called marketing.

And throughout that whole post, you never mentioned one person that was clutch. [IMG]

    maaaan this is tough...but....

PG: Stephon Marbury- dunno why, but he always seems to hit clutch shots and make the big plays...

SG: Reggie Miller- I dont care how old he is, he is THE MAN when it comes to clutch players...

SF: Kobe Bryant- I still remember his Game 4 OT performace when Shaq was fouled out in the 2000 Finals vs. Indy...priceless...

PF: Tim Duncan- simply one of the best clutch players to ever play this game.

C: Hmmm...tough call...but I'm goin with yao Ming...great FT shooter (75-80%) and has an unstoppable array of post moves to score...yes...i am biased...

I'd move Duncan to center and have Horry at the 4. Yao hasn't had many game winning shots or super clutch games yet if any...

Actually, I did a list like this month ago somewhere in this forum So to keep listing the players over & over is useless. Plus these type of threads turn into my favorite player threads really quickly [IMG]
