<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">(even though he has shot much better than Carmelo Anthony) </div>

After you said that, I stopped readin your post, and most of the rest. I'm sorry but if your gonna tell me thats not biased I don't know what is. Lebron's shot isn't even natural, have you seen him play in real life? You gotta see him play in real life and tell me if its natural.

And you need to calm down, just cuz hes sayin somethin in a LEBRON debate you threaten to ban him. Relax man.. really you need to.

Just because your mod, it gives you the power to bash people and threaten people? Really you need to relax and stop threatening. You tell me to oh just respect everyones opinions... look at what your doin man.

I'm tellin you, I don't see anythin wrong with what you or c is sayin, besides the fact you are threatening to ban him. If you cut that part out, it would be fine... chill...

I might be wrong, but did he cuss?

    Back on subject:

LeBron is playin too much in my opinion. They won tonight tonight with him playin 36 minutes, as much as Melo gets a night. They didn't play a great team, but try playin him less and see what happens... it might help.

And as for Nuggets vs Cavs:

    Center: Camby VS Z
    PF: Nene vs Boozer
    SF: Melo vs Newble/Miles
    SG: Lenard vs Davis
    PG: Miller vs LeBron

    You make the comparison...

Also, I agree MELO does have the strive and hunger to win since he knows how it feels to win an NCAA championship. I think thats a key: MElo KNOWs how it feels to win, LeBron doesn't...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bernie Lincome of the Rocky Mountian News says he can't carry Carmelo's jock. Bill Walton says the Cavaliers are losing because of him. Kevin Modesti of the L.A. Daily News says he's been all style, no substance.

These people should all stop talking immediately.

LeBron James is averaging 17.5 points, 7 boards, and 6 and a half assists per game.

I know the game isn't all about numbers, but would exactly is it that you want the guy to do? He's 18. He has no college experience. He's got all of 17 games of career experience. He's a Cleveland Cavalier. He has to deal with Ricky Davis.

He plays in the NBA, not the Teen Wolf High School League. One guy can only make so much difference. Not LeBron James or a hairy Michael J. Fox is going to be able to turn a team like the Cavs into title contenders.

When he has a supporting cast that can play like a team and some more experience, and his team is still losing, then by all means, pour on the criticism. Until then, however, I'm chalking it all up to the bitter backlash that's been inevitable since the hype machine kicked into overdrive surrounding LeBron's arrival.</div>

Great article here from MJ Darnell. As he correctly points out, the Cavs don't know how to play as a team, and Denver do. That's the big factor in their respective records, not Carmelo being a better player than LeBron.

Correctly? What about Bill Walton, Jay Mariotti, Bernie Licome, Bill Plashche? Are they all suddenly "wrong" cuz some no name writer says they're wrong? Not to mention that part about Bron is just a small part in a larger article- The aforementioned writers all did extensive, well thought out piece on the subject. It sounds like hes making the usual Cavalier excuses ie. "Ricky Davis is responsible for ALL their problems" & "The Cavs have no talent." Sounds like MJ is spouting off the usual cliched excuses for the Cavs, & not actually watching any Cavs games.

    Walton's Piece: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...bill&id=1676440
    Plaschke's piece: http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-plasch...eadlines-sports
Linicicome's Piece(Not for the faint of heart): http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/spor...2474159,00.html
    Kevin Modesti's Piece: http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,20...1807905,00.html

BTW, its 16.5 ppg after James's recent 8 pt. game.
The lesson of the story is "That what the media giveth, the media can taketh"
Remember, its Bill Walton who called LeBron "The Chosen One."

Would Carmelo get more wins for the Cavs if he was on the Cavs? Would LeBron get the same amount of wins if he was on the Nuggets? We'll never know.

But a HUGE factor of everythin is that LeBron doesn't know how it feels to win. Carmelo does, Melo knows exactly how it feels to win a Championship. Maybe not the biggest one, but the second biggest you can win in the USA. (other than olympic, etc). Carmelo has the strive, the HUNGER. I believe this is the Key to everythin thats happening.

You are free to say that, but that is a slap in the face to the rest of the Nugget roster.

How many times must we say that Denver is not a one man show?

If you want to talk about Melo, go to the Denver forum.

(I will be there waiting too)

Is it a slap in the face to the Nets roster to say that without Jason Kidd, that franchise would still be going nowhere?? Melo is to the Nuggets what J Kidd is to the Nets IMO. Lebron may get there eventually, but right now for the short term, its Silas who needs to be the leader of the team. Either that, or some major trades need to be made ASAP.

I am tired of talking to you, this Cavs forum is about quality, and that is something that you don't bring to the table here.

Your act is tired, a waste of webspace. You ruin threads, I won't stand for this anymore.

I also agree that Silas needs to be the leader. Lebron is too young to take on such a role. I think Silas is asking Lebron to do too much.

I'm surprised that they havent made any trades yet. Toronto is a brand new team after the bulls trade. Theyre friggin scary w/ Vince & Donyell

Lebron has all the time in the world to develop. Leave it alone. As for Denver and Melo, Denver should be thanking their lucky stars for even getting lucky enough to get Melo! Detroit should have gotten Melo but instead they made the mistake of picking a stiff named Darko that flops on making open dunks! If Billy Boy Walton wants to start critiquing top round draft picks then he should start by evaluating Darko's performance, not Lebron's.
