<div class="quote_poster">Quoting allnet:</div><div class="quote_post">Picking on him? please....The one thing I hate is very arrogant fans who think they can't be beat...that no one has a chance against them..I have seen this too much and It was time I actually said something...Badmouthing the rest of the league? no..more like disrespecting the rest of the teams in this league.</div>

I understand how you feel. I just thought you guys were being a little hard on him, that's all.

Anyways, Lakers look tough to beat. Nonetheless, we haven't seen how the kings matchup, and the Spurs are not theirselves right now. I think they're hovering around .500 right now. I think it's safe to say the Spurs of the second half of the season will be quite different from the ones the lakers beat twice the last week.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trail_Blazer76:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes it is, because they have yet to play the team that is playing on the same level as them (Kings).</div>

same level? Hmmm...Kings have to prove me something other than beating these weak East teams. I know what level the Lakers are on, we have beat the defending champs 3 times this year. Beat the Mavs by 10 or more in both of our meetings, and your going to still tell me Sac is the team to beat. No doubt, Sac is a great team, and they are still missing a all-star in Chris Webber, and still winning. But to be one of the best, you've got to show me that you can beat the best. And they haven't played San Antonio or Dallas this year yet, and there's nothing they can do about that. But that is the reason I take the Lakers over the Kings for NOW. And I'm done with arguing, obviously, we both feel different about the West, this arguement could never stop.

    Peace

I hate when Lakers fans say this kind of garbade. Less than half of the Spurs players from last year returned this year. They are a completely NEW team.

Sure, let's just end this argument.

If you expect a Laker fan like me to sit back and just watch people attack the Laker forum, or give in to what their saying, then your looking at the wrong person. That is another story though. It's all good, were cool.

16-3 and is making a huge statement in this league right now. I don't see anybody that wants to face them.

What drama or setbacks have the Lakers had to deal with? LOL </div>

Um let's see...Kobe's trial...the Shaq-Kobe fued...getting two veteran superstars...working through injuries (Shaq, Kobe, Fox, Cook, Slava)

And Allnet- what are you talking about? All your points are useless. You always try to bait.

    And so are the Lakers.

    Newcomers:

    -Payton
    -Malone
    -Cook
    -Walton
    -Sampson

Not to mention that George didn't start last year, so the Lakers are a completely NEW team. Notice their offensive style now; it isn't the slow-down offense, they run the fast break more often now.

MDE, I am aware of the Lakers' drama. I chose not to list their problems because I would have to so in a vulgar manner, and didn't want to violate our guidelines.

Yes, the Lakers lineup has a lot of new players, but they were all upgrades!! The Spurs lost the center of their defense, David Robinson. Don't try and act like the Lakers should be struggling like the Spurs, because we all know that the Lakers did nothing but get better players.

Actually they are very valid points (Always are).Of course you being a Laker fan your blind bias will get in the way of everything. The fact you call me out yet don't make any points to back up your theory is rather odd. However It is to be expected.
