After grizzlies trade, Do you think gasol will still be first offensive option or will that move to bonzi wells. I do like bonzi even if sometimes he just seem to loose focus, he can be a good scorer even if his last stats doesn't say that, and can help memphis to become more popular. But I hope he won't be number one because he is easier to defend than gasol.( being a 7 footer helps a lot) and with his ability to put himself out of the game can made severe damage if given responsability for money time shots.
Memphis plays great team basketball, but it will all still start with Gasol's post game. This team has a good inside out attack and now has a guy that thrives off of taking it to the basket.
Bonzi I reckon will be the 2nd option.Everything should go through Gasol...when you have a big man with his skills you have to run the ball through him as much as possible.
Gasol is still the #1 option of the offense. Wells might not even start. Grizz option Gasol/Miller/Williams.

Gasol definetely. Probably Wells then Miller as the next options. Honestly Jason Williams shouldn't be an option, just because it is his responsibility to give the ball to the other options.
I believe that Bonzi Wells will be the Grizzlies' second leading scorer, but what does that really mean? All that matters is his defense. The Grizzlies don't really need an offensive spark right now. Mike Miller, Jason Williams, and Pau Gasol will more than cover for that, but on defense the only players whom I see are James Posey, Shane Battier, and Bo Outlaw. The Grizzlies need Bonzi to be a defensive presence more than they need his fifteen points per game.
Ha, definitely Pau. I see Bonzi starting, some of the time. But it would be hard to see West's guy Mike Miller comin off the bench all the time. Actually, it'd be interesting to see who the 2 and 3 will be. It's possible that Wells would play the 3 as he did sometime in Portland. Gasol is a 4, and won't play the 3. The Griz now have a four man rotation of sg/sf swingmen with Miller, Wells, Posey, and Battier. Personally, I'd start Battier with Wells, but I think Hubie values Shane as a sixth man more than any other role player, even Miller and Wells. So with Miller and Wells in, I see Wells being the 2nd option, and Miller the 3rd. I think Wells and Williams will either be a great combo or horrible conflict. I have to disagree with Wave as to the Griz' only defense comin from those three. Gasol and Swift are good defensive presences also, so its likely that Wells will be asked to score and rebound in his minutes(which will be less than what he saw in Portland).
M Miller wont sit on the bench the only way bonzi starts if they put posey on the bench. And the players that play def for grizz are Swift, Battier, posey and watson.
Miller will start at the 2 guard.Bonzi Wells at the 3.BW was not brought to Memphis to come off the bench and he knows it.

Both of them are skinny guys who get pushed around, especially Gasol. Gasol lets guys go right by him uncontested.
Wave I am with you. Gasol honestly might be the worst defender in the NBA with Swift he can block a shot but his defensive positioning is very very bad. He has a knack for fronting the post with no weakside help and giving up a dunk. As for Gasol he is just weak and for how long he is he blocks very few shots and his lateral movement is also way below average. Also the key to the Grizzlies sucess is that they play a team game and they don't worry who is the main option, if they start worrying who shoots and who gets the ball they will turn into the Portland Trailblazers, a team with so much talent that you can't decide who gets the ball.
i dont think we'll have to worry about bonzi for long if the grizzlies trade swift, battier, and bonzi it should b more then enough 2 bring in kobe imagine next years lineup pg-jason williams sg-kobe sf-miller pf-gasol and if grizzlies 1st pick that they sent to portland is in the top 3 they get to choose if they wanna keep it c-pavel or emeka
im not sayin there bringin in kobe this year though but jerry would sure love if they had kobe next year
