Damn, that's huge. They took long enough, to not eject him out of the game, but then to suspend him. Must of took them a while to look over it though. :thumbsdow
I don't know what to think, on one hand it will make Utah's game a lot easier and it is actually possible for them to win now, on the other I was really looking forward to AK47 going up against Karl Malone. The mailman doesn't usually do this kind of thing, so it's unlikely he'll be suspended again this season.
This is great. Why you ask? It means Malone will play his first ever game against the Jazz...in Utah like it should be.
Ridiculous! An unintentional elbow draws a suspension?! Nash got right up to Malone's face, and Malone turned his elbow, what do you think is gonna happen? Looks like Karl will have to wait to play Utah. Next time he plays the Mavs, I want him to elbow Nash again and while Nash is knocked out I want Karl to take a scissors and snip off his ugly greasy hair.

the MDE, that is a joke if you thought that was an accident. And tmac15, where do you get off saying this... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The mailman doesn't usually do this kind of thing, so it's unlikely he'll be suspended again this season.</div> Are you def? Malone has made a career out of drilling people. Isiah Thomas David Robinson Brian Grant Tim Duncan Steve Nash Someone else add to this list, I know they can!
Like King James said, this isn't his first time (and probably won't be his last). I remember when David Robinson fouled Malone with his face a few years ago, or so according to the referee's call. Robinson had a concussion was in the hospital a few days, while Malone got to shoot 2 freethrows. He deserved a suspension this time.... You know what though, Malone wasn't even the dirtiest player in Utah. That darn Stockton, dont even get me started.....(seriously)

Okay, okay guys, maybe I was wrong about Malone. He in fact DID do it intentionally...and here is the aftermath:
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting the MDE:</div><div class="quote_post">Allnet. </div> C'mon now,do you seriously want to be without Karl for the rest of the season?

Huge lost for the lakers especially on how Malone is playin... Jazz are playin some good balll, (5-1 in their last 6). They also got some great chemistry goin for their team and if they get by the Lakers with a win or close game, I would feel great if I were the Jazz. I still expect Lakers to win... but NBA is full of surprises lol
I think the suspension was called for. Malone does indeed stick his elbows out...and when someone's in your face the way Nash was, you shouldn't be swinging your elbows like that. But the time when Duncan jumped into Malone's elbow after getting pump faked...that was Duncan's fault. I feel no sympathy for Duncan after that play. As for Stevie Nash, I felt bad for him.
As a Laker fan, this suspension is well deserved. He's been doing this for a long time now, and maybe when he sits and thinks about it, he'll learn not to do it again.
