Orlando's shortcomings were all too common: Missed defensive rotations leading to easy baskets, surrendered offensive rebounds cashed in for second-chance points, a late letdown erasing whatever good was accomplished earlier. Repeat 18 times, and that's why the Magic are on a team-record losing streak. The Magic came back from an 18-point deficit in the first half and held a five-point advantage entering the final quarter after Tracy McGrady had 16 of his 28 points in the third period. But Orlando missed 16 of 21 shots down the stretch as the Spurs closed the game with an 18-7 run. Duncan shot 19-for-33 from the field and 9-for-13 from the line in falling six points shy of his career high.Duncan also had 12 rebounds for his 15th double-double in 16 games. The Spurs outrebounded Orlando 45-33, and had 15 offensive rebounds for 18 second-chance points. Rasho Nestorovic added 12 points for the Spurs, who snapped a four-game losing skid. Ron Mercer scored seven of his 11 points in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter to kick off the Spurs' comeback. </div> Watching this game it is clear to me the Spurs need a trade.Going after a shooter would be the best option.Jackson outside threat and clutch shooting is missed. As is Kerr's....A guy who can take the pressure off Duncan is what Spurs need...Something needs to be added as right now something certain isn't right. No matter how good Duncan plays..when he gets doubled teamed he needs to have players who can knock down open shots.Right now he hasn't got that. Big props to TD though with a monster game.
Great game by Duncan. That just shows teams that you can't single guard him. You have to come with double teams, the Magic didn't do that last night and he made us pay. I agree, they really do need a trade, they didn't look very good, other than Duncan.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Boy, what a duo Howard/Gooden are </div>Doesn't matter, there are not many, of any, people that can guard TD man up, period.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Boy, what a duo Howard/Gooden are </div> Aren't they great? They are the most exciting duo in the league. Duncan killed the Magic throughout the entire game. He had a moster game while his teammates were just sitting around.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Boy, what a duo Howard/Gooden are </div> Don't forget Giricek, I saw a couple of possessions, that he got stuck matched up against Duncan, for some strange reason. Of course Duncan dominated him.
Well done to Timmy, it just proves that you can't guard him with one person at all. No matter who guards him he'll still get at least 15 points and 7 boards on a bad day. Hopefully he can keep up some consistency because up until now his season had been a little shaky.
Are the Spurs slackin off this year? I dun think Timmy has all that much to prove, I mean.. 2 MVPS and 2 rings, what more does he need?
duncans 47 points prove that he why he is 1 of the best power forwards in the league. he can give you a double double any time. thats just his style.
