This game is tied up at 65 - 65. If you have ESPN, I'd tune into it now. Michigan State got off to a slow start, but in the stretch they got a boost of confidence somehow and went from down fifteen to tie it up. The game is now in overtime.

Oklahoma won 80-77 over a controversial call at the end of the game.

The Spartans were down by two and gave the ball to Maurice Ager. Ager drove to the bucket and made a layup, but was whistled for an offensive foul. It was a bogus foul and it's sad that Michigan State came all the way back just to lose to a bad call. The reff's shouldn't dictate the game.

The refs wouldn't have to dictate the game if Michigan State would actually play well for an entire game instead of letting the other team grab a big lead, forcing Michigan State to play catchup the rest of the game.

I was at the game. Personally that play at the end wasn't blown. But there were several other calls that could be held a countable for MSU loss.

Michigan State's schedule is so tough.I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop in the rankings alot in the coming days and weeks.

They will not be ranked. They have three losses and are at fifty percent. However, three losses mean nothing once the season gets into it's eighth or nineth week. The important thing to me is that Michigan State is confident going into their game against Kentucky next Saturday. They were confident at the end of the game against Oklahoma and that is how they were able to push it into overtime. Against Kansas and Duke, Michigan State looked scared. Sometimes it just takes a few bumps and bruises to get your head out of the clouds.

Alan Anderson and Chris Hill need to be able to lead this team. As soon as Hill and Anderson got back in the game, so did Michigan State. They need to take on leadership rolls and realize that they are dealing with a bunch of talented youngsters who need on-the-court guidance.

Michigan State plays Kentucky, UCLA, South Florida, and Syracuse all before Big Ten play. If they can beat Kentucky they'll probably be ranked again, but if they can beat all four (which I honestly feel they can) they'll probably end up in the top fifteen heading into Big Ten play.

They will not be ranked however they are better then a lot of "ranked" teams. There schedule is almost impossible. I dare any team to have to play Kansas, Duke, Oklahoma and Kentucky. All four of these teams are very good and they are all well coached. It is not like MSU is losing to bad teams.
