seriously .. did any one notic any difference on the Magic after Jonny Davis took over the head coaching job ?? 8 straight losses !!! John Gabriel should've been out of Orlando before doc Rivers ... he blames Rivers for the teams' disapointing start .. but he hadn't actully done anything major to help this team to be a decent contender .. at least in the east .. during the Raptors @ Magic game .. a fan in the standing had a sign that says : 10 reasons to fire Gabriel : 1) SHAQ 2) Harpring 3) Outlaw 4) Armostrong 5) Hill 6) Miller 7) ... .... etc ! that's what pisses me off .. when team struggles .. the coach is the reason !! why don't they look at the players .. why don't they look at the management .. he's still the same Doc Rivers who won Coach Of The Year award 3 years ago .. and made T-Mac the player he is now ! Gabriel used his authority over Doc jonny Davis is no better than Doc the managment better re-state all the people in the orgnization from players to coaching staff to the Towel Boys and even the Mascot in order for them to get back on track!
Its very simple. Someone wearing a tie had to go. Gabe should have been the one, but it didn't turn out that way. I tried to break down the problems which are leading to all these losses Right Here Right now its all about confidence. The Magic have been so close, but they just don't believe in themselves anymore.
my wonder is what things does Jonny Davis do better than Doc ?? .. did Gab expected Jonny to make a significant chancges on his team ?
They are completely different personalities. Johnny Davis is quiet and doesn't yell at players, while Doc is loud and let's the players hear what they did wrong. They thought that they needed a completely opposite person, and they were wrong. Fire Gabe.
