Quote:

Link to full articleTORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors try to remain unbeaten since acquiring Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall when they host the Seattle SuperSonics on Sunday.
Toronto won its third straight since acquiring Rose and Marshall from Chicago with Friday's 92-87 victory over Atlanta. Vince Carter scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter as the Raptors rallied to improve to 7-2 at home.
Rose collected 22 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds and Marshall added 21 points for Toronto. Marshall is averaging 23.0 points in three games with the Raptors.
Rookie Chris Bosh also had a solid game with 11 points and seven rebounds. Bosh has scored in double figures in 10 straight games.
Seattle is opening a four-game road trip. The SuperSonics, who have split eight games against Eastern Conference foes, are 4-2 on the road.
Ron Murray scored 20 points in Friday's 101-94 loss to Indiana. Seattle had just one starter in double figures as Rashard Lewis netted 12 points on 3-of-11 shooting.
Seattle has won the last four meetings with Toronto after losing the previous four.

How High's Thoughts
The might prove to be the first real test for the new look Raptors. Seattle has shocked some with their strong play this year. Many felt that with the absence of Ray Allen the Sonics would collapse but instead they have shown surprising resilience and versatility. They have a solid scoring threat in "Flip" Murray coming off the bench and can run with the best of them. The Sonics may not be one of the powerhouses in the West but they are a team to watch out for and will give the Raptors new line-up a serious challenge. That said, this is a winnable game for Toronto. They have been playing solid team ball and have shown a high degree of resilience at the end of games with a win on the line. Toronto has lost to Seattle in their last four encounters and will have to "show-up" if they want to have a chance in this game. So far this season K.O.?s squad seems more willing to check into games ready to play than last year?s version of the team. It will be key for the Raptors to rebound hard and drive to the lane to create shooting opportunities for players on the outside. Let?s Go Raptor?s!

Keys to the Game by thefranchise3 and Kid Canada
It will certainly be a challenge for the Raptors to bring down the Seattle SuperSonics, so these are some things the Raptors must do in order to win.

The Raptors must contain Rashard Lewis, they have to get him off to a slow start to prevent a big Seattle lead, because we all know that Rashard can do some damage.

Today the Raptors must share the ball. The last three games have been great mostly because of their ball movement. They've taken some smart shots and need to continue to find the open man.

Lastly, they can't continue to rely on long range jumpers and three pointers. The 17 three pointers that they dropped against the Celtics won't happen every game, so they have to get to the line like they've been doing the last three games.

Very good preview How High. I think that the Raptors will pull it off and get the win. Sonics are playing great basketball, but since it's in Toronto, the advantage swings to the Raps.

The Raptors have been playing solid ball at the ACC this year and so being at home is once again an advantage. (I'm glad you like the preview. It was a team effort between Myself, Franchise and Kid Canada)

Yeah this should be a win for the Raptors, but Seattle has been doing well on the road this season. I'll take the Raptors by 5.

yea man, he had a great game...dunno bout a "crazy" dunk though...he threw down a couple nice ones, but he does that every game. a crazy dunk id say would be the facial on theo, or the one hander off the pick & roll in the boston game (i think it was) he had a couple nice ones today though...one he went up, got blocked from behind by jerome james, then got it back, went up strong again and threw it down

i love how hes so composed in the post, even when playing D against someone whos got a clear size advantage over him.

his game is pretty mature for a player as raw as he still is.

bosh will be a double double machine within a couple seasons. hell be easily putting up 20 and 10 with a couple blocks a game. bosh/VC/jalen will be a big 3 that will be lighting up the league

Just wait till Bosh gets some meat on him.....

He'll be a force in the league if he can get to someone's size ... a little more than JYD.
