Team Updates

<u>Orlando</u> The Magic beat the Suns and rallied from a 22 point deflect. McGrady was one assist short of a triple double and the bench came alive for the Magic. History will have to wait, the Magic won!

<u> Washington </u> They are plagued by injuries this season. Their top players Stackhouse and Arenas make up great portion of their offense and are currently out.

[quoteright] "I don't believe in superstition. I believe in execution."
-- Coach Johnny Davis, in the Orlando Sentinel, on not doing anything out of the ordinary to break the Magic's losing streak [/QUOTERIGHT]
    Keys to the Game
Orlando <ul>Maintain the tempo of the game.
<ul>Play with engery and defense. This includes doing the hustle plays which the Magic have not done, nor cared about.
<ul>Just believe
Washington <ul>Team effort. Their two best players are sitting, and the Wizards need help from everyone.
<ul>Maintain McGrady.
Key Bench Players

    <u> Orlando</u>
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Drew Gooden<ul>11.2 Points Per Game, 7.8 Rebounds Per Game, 1.4 Assists Per Game
Keith Bogans<ul>3.5 Points Per Game, 3.8 Rebounds Per Game, .4 Assists Per Game. I think Davis should play Bogans more. When given the minutes he has produced and made great hustle plays.
Steven Hunter <ul>4.5 Points Per Game, 3.7 Rebounds Per Game, .2 Assists Per Game
<u> Washington</u>
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Kwame Brown <ul>8.2 Points Per Game, 6.4 Rebounds Per Game, 1.5 Assists Per Game
Juan Dixon<ul>9.2 Points Per Game, 1.9 Rebounds Per Game, 1.7 Assists Per Game
Brendan Haywood <ul>5.4 Points Per Game, 5.1 Rebounds Per Game, .4 Assists Per Game
Key Matchup
    Drew Gooden vs Kwame Brown
    [IMG] [IMG]

    The 'X' Factor
    Will the Wizards bench produce?

    My Predictions
Very close game, could go either way

I think we will win this game. They are drastically under manned and Tmac should just take over. The Wizards also play the Magic on the 2nd day of a back to back, so if the streak doesn't end on Monday against the Suns, it should end this game.

The Magic will win this. This may also be a game where everyone on the Magic will play a good game. Magic by 5

Awesome preview Ice. If the Magic are gonna get a win anytime soon this is the game they'll do it in. Washington are hurting with the injury to Arenas (on top of Stack). Only problem is it's in Washington, but I still think the Magic can pull out a win here and hopefully spark some resemblance of a revival.

Very nice preview Ice, possibly the best I've seen around here. I think Magic are going to get this one, like Sir Desmond said, Wizards are hurting with injuries, so the Magic should be able to take advantage and pick up win #2.

Excellent preview....Washington just covered with injuries left and right, and the Wizards are one of the sorriest teams in the league, should be a cakewalk for Orlando as they go for win #2.

I pretty confident about getting the win here, especially coming off a victory over the Suns.

awesome preview, guess i dont have to make one, i do think that the Wizards have a real good shot at this, Kwame has played his best ball the last two games, he is comfortable coming off the bench, they hung in their with Indy until the 4th,

I say the Wizards take it 95-93...im not trying to be biased, but that is how i think it wil happen

Magic win 95-91. The Magic played awful and we still won, that just shows how bad a team the Wizards are.The Wizards giftwrapped this game to the Magic with all those turnovers. Just in time for christmas

How bad the Wizards are? did you realize we were without our two best players, and if we had them, we probably would of won, Tmac had 27 pts on 9-25 shooting, and Howard had 15, Lol this is funny, Arenas got two Techs. he was sitting right behind the hoop, it was really funny when the commentators said that happened...another reason the wiz lost was because they didnt go to kwame down the stretch, he was having his way down low, and hughes just jacks up shots

and the Magic didnt have Grant hill, pat garrity, or drew gooden(2nd half). So people being injured are no excuse.................... but the wiz have some good big men. Etan Thomas is 10x the player I thought he was, same with kwame. Both of them had double doubles.........and why was arenas called for 2 technicals?

he said some ish to the refs, he was all dressed up ready to go for the game lol, u cant say they didnt have Grant Hill, they havent had him since they acquired him, pat garrity and drew gooden in no way match up to the two the Wiz were missing.
